first, lets answer a few questions. did the MD5 check pass? what cd burning program are you using on what system? and just in case, what show is it that youre trying to burn?

i dragged the song to the transfer box, i believe it transferred, i am running the nero burner program, which is what came with the cd burner and i have windows 98. the show i was trying to download was 8/25/95. but ive tried other shows but they didnt work either.

Once tracks are downloaded in shn format then converted to wav, you should be able to open nero, drag over the tracks for a cd, remove the 2 second pause between all tunes except after the 1st track (for some reason this has to stay for nero to work). Key questions include:
Is your nero up to date?
Can you actually click on the converted tracks and listen to them through your computer player?

I had a problem where my nero did not recognize my hpcdwriter 8200 and I had to download an emailed folder from the nero support. This should not be a problem for you since nero came with your cd burner.
Also, make sure you are using good quality cd-r's and make sure the cd-r has not already been used. If it started to burn then screwed up, you have to toss the disc.
I am not an expert with this stuff but I have 161 shows that I have burned, 30 more waiting and have obtained shows both through antsmarching and ftp servers.

Another piece of advice is that the antsdownloader works like a hot knife through butter with win xp. I upgraded from 98 to xp and it was worth all of the initial aggravation. Be prepared, however to spend a weekend doing it.
Give me a step by step for what you do from download to conversion to attempting to burn.
