I havnt checked the other "sellouts" but I know that the sold out Saturday Gorge show is no longer sold out as TM put lawn tickets up for sale again this past week.

The summer shows are usually like this...at least they have been for the past couple tours. The "big" shows are usually they only ones that will really sell out and the other venues will almost always have lawn seats available.

seems like there are a lot more sell outs this year than last year.
The three shows I am going are already sold out, whereas last year I think only one night of Alpine sold out.

It's no surprise that Molson Amphitheatre sold out (see spelling :) ) they were the second venue to completely sell out ALL of their seats. Sometime soon this venue will be listed with SPAC and Gorge as one of the most entertaining venues on the circuit. I know they have only played there twice so far but it really is a wonderful place to see DMB. The only place I've seen them play more pumped was Central Park.

It's no surprise that Molson Amphitheatre sold out
especially since it's the only Canadian date this year.

it's not listed yet as sold out, but I think Charlotte has already sold out, can't get any tickets, not even a single lawn through TM or CC. I think the boys have done pretty good so far, usually shows that are gona sell out will sell out during the week leading up to the show, when local radio stations promote it and all. I know Atlanta sold out last summer and there were literally hundreds of people sittin outside waiting for anything during the show

I think alot of more casual fans dont mind the lawn, so they are not in a hurry to get reserved. Some of us nuts have to be as close as possible. Of course I have a great time no matter where I sit.

Most underrated venue IMO. They should get a 2 night stand, no doubt they would sell 2 nights out. Last years show had a truly amazing setlist, and lots of energy.
Here's to a two night stand at the Molson in '05 :D

i haven't been to all that many venues, but it's the best i've been to. you are also totally correct when you say last years show was amazing. i couldn't believe that show and still have doubt if i'll ever see a show that good again. would love to have two in TO and so would most fans.

i think the reason the shows haven't been selling out fast is because there isn't a new album out. we'll probably hear some new songs, but there hasn't been any songs released to the radio/MTV, so more casual fans may not know a new album is in the works.anyway, when RCA promotes DMB, they do a half ass job.

i disagree -- look at the other acts on tour this summer... at least half of them have not had new material released in over 10 years! :lol

I agree with that a bit. Also keep in mind that DMB and Dave specifically are virtually always on tour. Casual fans have so many opportunities to see DMB that, especially with no new radio singles, there probably isn't as much interest as there could be. DMB does not market well but I'll never complain about that, I like it how it is.

I think this year tick sales are going better.. the past year or two there have seemed to be a decrease in attendence at the shows... like mainly hershey, 01 was jammed pack, two years ago, a couple sections closed off, and then last year they seemed to be much in the same boat. I think that there seem to be more sellouts, than in past years, and seems to be more excitement for the shows coming.
