Curious.
Anyone know who the side stage acts are for the summer tour?
I did a web search and only found Ari Hest, Marc Broussard, and Monticello Road. Are the side-stage acts listed anywhere?
Anyone know of any others?
Anyone worth checking out?

yes, there are not side stages @ all venues,
depends on the promoter & depends on the funds/sponsorship
but all those folks are playing at least one side stage as far as I can tell--according to their web sites. I just searched the web.
there's often a good up-and-coming act to check out, so I was curious who else might be playing, esp in the East

I saw Marc Broussard at Antioch last year. He's awesome in my humble opinion.

Ari Hest will be at both Hartford shows and all three Gorge shows. He's a great singer-songwriter. His first major label album, Someone To Tell, comes out August 10. You can preview three songs at www.arihestplayer.com. His shows are on the Archive, I've been able to tape two of his shows when he came through Texas.

Antigone Rising is a side stage show too. They are a really sick all female rock groups. They're shit is tight, and they even do some Jams. They just got a deal with Lava, and are getting really big. their website is www.antigonerising.com
Their side stage shows are at the UMB Bank Pavillion, Tweeter Center, and Verizon Wireless Music Center.

Antioch, TN...Anyone coming to this show definitely needs to stop and listen to Monticello Road at sidestage. They're a great band from Charlottesville with some impressive music that spans all genres. They have been creating quite a buzz in the East Coast College Circuit. They are going to be passing out over 1,000 demos so try to pick one up at the show. Check their website to find out more: http://www.monticelloroad.com
