As much as I loved the two episodes last night...did anyone else feel the flow between the two was strange? I know it all has to do with their decision to reorganize the Lost finale to 3 hours instead of 90 minutes for the finales of both of these, but it was just weird with Dixon saying "your mother was alive" and then go right into the next episode with her mother in the first scene. I think if it would of aired like it was originally going to with a week break I think the impact would of been way more intense.

he really didnt help them in exchange for his freedom, he was forced into the covenent, they made him give them his $800 million. and i dont really no if her found out who was top dog in the covenent, because when he went to meet Cole(please come back quentin, please)Cole uttered one of my favorite lines: "im the man in front of the man." He also told sark that he would be the top covenent agent in which sark would be dealing with. He might have found out later in the season, like maybe form lauren, but we dont know if she really knew who THE MAN is.

I remember reading Alais magazine before the season started and J.J. said what we would find out who THE MAN is. im thinking Elena is, but they didn't flat out say she is. they said last episode that she was using the covenent to collect rambaldi artifacts, but they didn't say she was the man, per-say. i wonder if she is, or if she is working along with THE MAN. she probably is, but i hope there is someone else too. maybe sloane is THE MAN. he is now working with her, although i beleive he isnt really bad(i mean he is, but not yet)he is trying to bring her down. but if he is really working to help her then maybe he is THE MAN

If they go longer, I'm afraid they might turn it into a clusterfuck of what the latter seasons of the X-Files were. Hell, the first 8 or so episodes of Alias this season are examples of that.

And I have to say - in one season, they'd be able to focus on on really nuts-mackworthy storyline. I'd say two more seasons would be perfect. ETA: Actually, no, 6 seasons would be okay. Next year will be the test because he won't have much involvement with Alias (and Lost for that matter) at all due to MI:3 filming and post-production through the end of the year. Though he didn't have much involvement this season either of Alias since Lost was starting up. Notice he only wrote the opener this season.

No they are starting it in September since they are moving it to Thursday's at 8pm. I did read that it might be possible that they may put it on hiatus for 2 months to air some new drama then bring it back for the end...but who knows.

So they better hurry and get all of the shots with her in them done this summer. and who knows how long after she has the baby it will be untill she resumes shooting. im thinking around Jan or feb. it probably would make more sense to do the show how they did it this year and not air any till Jan. That way they will probably have like 8-10 done this summer and they can show those in Jan-feb and by that time she will be back and shooting more scenes

The thing is she is filming a movie, "Catch and Release" this summer. So that kind of voids that. Filming isn't going to begin for Alias until at least mid-August. They need two months of pre-production for this type of show.

There is maybe a 3 week turnaround from filming to when you first see it...plus I'm guessing a last week of September/first week of October premiere anyways. That's when DH and Lost premiered this past fall. They can easily have 4-5 episodes in the bag before season premiere, and still working on more when it does premiere.

He might have been behind it originally, but there's no way he was behind a hit. Not with what he said last week about her being happy.

And you absolutely have to watch the 2nd hour from last week. It was a much better episode and Lena just fucking rocks my face off. She and Jack were why I could tolerate the zombies last night. And Marshall and Weiss. And Syd and Vaughn's whole romantic thing before she went to the roof was actually the best Syd-Vaughn scene all season, IMO.

I'm reading a massive journal entry from Jinnie. It's her Season 4 wrap up.

Interesting tidbits: Kendall's name and lines for him actually were in the script for the finale. They were cut. She references Chad's blog for more info. I want to know about this, so I'll link you up when I read it. Okay, it's just that LOST scheduling wouldn't allow for it so instead they got Brodien to come back. I don't think this means Kendall was supposed to get harpooned originally............that isn't said or not said so I dunno.

Here's what else was cut - across various eps - tagged just, cuz it seems like I should.
"Katya and Irina were forced into the Rambaldi obsession by Elena. Later, the two younger sisters forged a bond to protect Sydney and Nadia.
1. Katya was the one who called for medical help after stabbing Vaughn to protect her cover in front of Lauren (who recognized her as sis to the boss), not Jack as often fanwanked.

2. As a Derevko, Katya would know the difference between loaded and unloaded guns.

I've always regretted not watching this show from the beginning, but didn't really want to start watching in the middle because I knew I wouldn't understand anything...

... but, thanks to the wonders of bit torrent, I now have the first two seasons downloaded onto my comp. Once I'm done with those two, I'll download 3 & 4.

And I must say, this show is kicking so much ass so far :thumbsup I'm currently halfway through season 1, just finished The Box Part 2. Tarantino is a badass. So far I've watched 13 episodes in just 4 days :thumbsup

Unfortunately, I already know about some of the twists (the whole two year thing in between S2 and S3, Sydney's mom still being alive, a few others), but I don't care.

So yeah I already posted a link to a recapped transcript of Victor Garber at that Alias thingy in London - but Amanda Foreman (Carrie) and Kevin (Marshall) were there too.

So, someone at televisionwithoutpity.com posted a summary from his/her own perspective. A couple of interesting things: I'll tag them but these aren't concrete spoilers by any means.

Kevin says that as far as he knows, APO will exist in S5. He "seemed to indicate that Before the Flood really did wrap up the Rambaldi mythology" though he thinks Rambaldi will be present next year, just not tot he extent he/it/they did this year. So, perhaps Rambaldi has been bumped to recurring too. :lol

The only other Victor thing was that he appeared baby crazy.

Amanda said not a whole lot other than the writers are discussing with her ways to bring Carrie back for a few eps. She also "announced (and then seemed to immediately regret it) that Greg Grunberg may not be available next year for many episodes." ANd people were like, whatever his pilot didn't get picked up, and she said "well that doesn't mean he won't be busy doing something else." Whatever that means.

I choose to comfort myself (cuz if that's a fulfillment, it's lame) by telling myself that Kevin just has no idea where they'll take Rambaldi in the future because that topic has taken second fiddle to dealing wtih the pregnancy.

Well I read a magazine today. Self. She's on the cover. And she was ebing interviewed by some Kelly chick who is on a TV show with the guy from Boston Common - she was in Mr. Hollands Opus. Anyway, they are friends and Jen was saying things like "Yeah, since I can't work out as much now, it's hard to keep the weight down." And Kelly says "I know, your boobs are the biggest I've ever seen them!"

Victor talks openly about Jen's pregnancy. He just doesn't ever say for sure what it means for Syd.

I know. I think she wants it that way!! I mean, it's odd, but I was astonished at how she was fully saying things about herself that just have to be related to the pregnancy but she doesn't ever say that she is pregnant or say anything related to it.

I guess maybe she just wants to keep things really private. And another weird thing in the article is that she never said any person's name. Not Michael, not Scott, not Ben even though she referred to going through a really hard time when she was filming Elektra (breaking up with MV) and how the woman interviewing her was there for her during the hardest time she's ever gone through (divorce) - and the interviewer put those things in parintheses but she totally dodges that stuff.

But there was no pregnany anything in parintheses - and I have no clue how to spell that word - even though she's talking about Jen's boobs getting bigger???? Oh well.
