Yes I watched it when it first started. I watched many episodes but quit watching because it got boring after a while.... seemed it was the same old crap over and over again. I was very surprised she was even nominated. I can't believe she won... Jen got screwed once again. I think any of the other women nominated should have won over Arquette.

I'm just glad that Everybody fucking Loves Raymond won't be winning anymore. I'm sure it's a perfectly fine show but I never really liked it. And still, I'm so tired of seeing all of those actors. :lol

It seems to me like the Emmy dweebs just don't like Sydney very much. The winners have these characters who aren't super feminine or who don't display a lot of feminine traits on a regular basis. Sydney is whiny and girly compared to Alison Janney and Mariska Hargitay's characters and Carmela Soprano.

Yeah! And if you go back and watch older movies - they're in smaller roles and you had completely forgotten. I do that all the time.

It was ok...yea definately the pilot thing, I think I won't pass judgement until a few more weeks...plus it's on after Arrested so I don't have anything to watch until CSI:Miami so might as well watch it.

Derek, so, I'm really interested in why you think the first half of Season 3 was worse than the 2nd half.

I got so frustrated with the second half. Then again, I was fully spoiled for basically everything. When I rewatched the first half, I thought it was better than I remembered. But when I rewatched the second half - well - I still thought it was better than I remembered. It's really hard for me to judge which half is better or worse.

I thought the first half just dragged because they were just bullshitting around trying to find out where the hell she was for those 2 years. And then when they finally get up to the "Full Disclosure" it was extremely anti-climatic because they had been building up to something big but in the end it didn't live up to what they were building up. I enjoyed the 2nd half better because the whole Lauren thing was quite interesting though predictable...at least it added a twist of some sorts...plus the Covenant arc was cool too. In the end the entire season sucked because it felt like the writers were pulling at straws as to what to do with the characters...the single thing that hurt this show the most was the loss of Lena Olin in Season 3. If they were able to hold on to her and explore that whole family dynamic more I think the show would have been alot better in Season 3.

Second half was much more suspenseful. And you raise a good point about the family dynamic. They completely turned the show into being fully about the family and they took that away. The Nadia thing was reeeeeeeally weird too. I still don't care about Nadia. :lol

Syd is running through a cornfield in the same outfit, perhaps, as she was wearing at the end of the last ep. I think it was a cornfield. She's looking back like someone is chasing her and she's trying to get away. She cries as she's looking into a jailcell through the bars - presumably talking to whoever is in the cell. And then there's a sonogram shot. Then she punches or kicks the shit out of some guy sitting at a desk.

I haven't watched A Dark Turn through Endgame in a reeeeeally long time and Truth Takes Time is fucking heart wrenching.

Here's my speculation on what happens with Vaughn this season: I think we're past the point of tagging this but....Vaughn gets shot. Vaughn goes to the hospital. Vaughn "dies" and Syd finds out later that Irina was behind it. Uh oh, it looks like Irina killed her grandbaby's daddy. But we all know better. She extracted him to make sure the other people who want to extract him (from the car wreck) think he's dead. Meanwhile, Syd finds out on her own who he really was and then Irina extracts her too and everyone is in love again.
