I never even watch the scenes from next weeks episode, because i want my nuts to be blown to hell when I watch the episode live
I always do. For me, its like foreplay and just gets me more psyched for the next episode.

Word. Unfortunately no one who posts here is online right now so even if I top this, I'll end up having a conversation with myself. But.......ah well. *tops* :)
We could talk about how hot Jennifer Garner is again. Or I'll ask another question. Lauren: Dead or Alive?? Are they gonna pull an Allison Goren again - would that be awful?? Will Lauren appear in flashbacks - is there any need for that?? What if someone guest stars - BESIDES LENA OLIN - who should it be?? I vote for Will (obviously)!

I vote for Quentin or Roger Moore. Yes.

In the new Alias magazine, it says Lauren will be coming back in a "recurring" role, not as a regular. Given Francie's/Allyson's reapperance this season, this will cause me to lose some respect for the show.

Yeah - I am really hoping that they (they = JJ, writers, producers) realize that they can't just have Lauren show up NOT dead and then end up killing her later. EXACT. SAME. THING. as with Francie/Allison.
So, what else could they do - flashbacks would warrant a "recurring" role but would they really need to flashback and include her in it? If they flashback to anything it should be to Jack/Irina/Sloane's younger days. But, I guess if Lauren was pivotal in Syd's missing two years - and I mean more than just being sent to marry Vaughn - maybe it would make sense.
Oh, sidenote - I read on sd-1.net that the Alias #5 mag that is out now was written before JJ stepped in and rewrote the cliffhanger (apparently Lauren wasn't going to get "killed" in the first plan) and so that recurring bit may no longer apply. But who really knows if that's true or not.

who is this anna espinosa?
Ha! Anna was only in the first season. She was a recurring character. Tall, thin, black, really long hair, absolutely gorgeous. There was one time when they were both at this formal banquet of some sort, both after some sort of important box (yeah, that really narrows it down huh) that only Syd had the key to open. Anyway, Syd got stuck when the building alarm went off and she was enclosed in glass or something. Anna was on the other side. Anna got away with the box but, before she ran off with it, she looked at Syd and kissed the glass, then disappeared. :) That was an awesome scene.
The last eppy that Anna was in, I think, was when she and Syd were both after the Rambaldi manuscript in that giant hole in the ground. (Geez.) Anna shot Dixon and he almost died - like every other character on this show!!

Yep that's the very same hole. Retelling those scenes - any scenes really - is pretty hilarious. "They were after this clock that when you put clear round circle things in it, it spits out a star map of the sky under which some music box is hid among icebergs and the tune it plays will open another important box or......uh......something........yeah."

So, I sucked the air out of my tires and lived and then went to climb a mountain so they would stop thinking I was gonna destroy the world."

And speaking of being awesome nest season....got this off sd-1.net but it's from TV Guide.
Alias: We Spy a Makeover
by Michael Ausiello
When Alias kicks off its fourth season in January, fans are going to spy some big-time changes. Coming off a subpar season, which saw viewership decline 9 percent, series creator J.J. Abrams will once again embrace the show's original conceit. Namely, Sydney will go back to juggling her dual roles as an international spy and normal twentysomething.
"We got so deep in the Rimbaldi and Covenant [mysteries] that we lost sight of some of the stuff we fell in love with [in the beginning]," ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson tells TV Guide Online. "J.J. is talking about getting back to some of the joy that she used to have in her personal life early on... while still living in this crazy world."
Abrams says he had an epiphany about Alias' disappointing third season while he was working on the pilot for his upcoming ABC thriller, Lost. "Going away to do Lost allowed me to look at Alias in a way that I could not have done otherwise from the outside," he explains. "And it was like an incredibly enlightening thing. I suddenly knew in my heart what I wanted and what I didn't want and I saw what was happening. Not that I wasn't proud of what was there, but I saw some mistakes that I made and I thought, 'Oh my God.'
"It was like going home and watching the game on TV it gives you that perspective that you don't have when you're playing it," he adds. "I have a knowledge of the show I never had before."
Meanwhile, Abrams, unlike fans, is not peeved at ABC for delaying the show's return until January. "I was begging them to do it," he admits, noting that the midseason launch will allow his baby to unspool its 20 episodes uninterrupted by reruns. "Every time we would return after three or four weeks of repeats, our ratings would dip. Every time."
The move, therefore, should not be interpreted as ABC not believing in the show, he says. "I guess you could argue that shuffling it to the back makes it look less important to them, but I think it's actually the opposite. If they didn't believe in the show they wouldn't have A) picked it up, B) ordered 20 [episodes] and C) strategized how to maximize its [potential]."
"I couldn't believe more in the show," McPherson attests. "We're going to be launching a lot of new dramas in the fall and we wouldn't have been able to put any money [into promoting Alias]. So we felt the best thing to do was bring it on in January when we've got all [20 episodes] and a huge promotion platform with the Academy Awards."
And if that strategy doesn't entangle more viewers in the spy yarn, Jennifer Garner can kiss her extensive wig collection good-bye, right? Wrong. McPherson insists there's "not a chance" Season 4 could be Alias' last. "It will be an asset for years." How many, exactly? Cracks Abrams: "Exactly 100." Nobody likes a smart-ass. Well, except us.

Well....while I do think that if Lena were coming back, they'd go as far as they possibly could to keep it a secret and totally knock us off our asses with it, but....I still have many doubts she'll ever agree to come back. But, maybe they'll knock my ass out of my chair someday. That would be sweet.
There was a lot of talk yesterday on the alias boards. JJ and them haven't started actually scripting yet but they have apparently decided on what will be going on as an overall story arc for at least Jack and Syd. Victor Garber is said to be very, very enthusiastic about it now. :D :D :D

Whoa - I went off looking for this thread and got to page 7, thinking "what the hell???? page 7!!!!!" before I realized someone must have just posted and topped it. Ha!
Anyway - she said that she left or wouldn't come back when they started asking her to, that she didn't want to because she needed time with her family and her kids, who live in NYC. She said she didn't want to be 3,000 miles away in LA to film. They (the powers that be...JJ...producers...whoever) started negotiating with her to come back before Season 3 was over and no one knew if they were trying to get her for Season 3 or just starting SUPER early for season 4. But, nothing has come from it as of yet.
Now, I really do feel that if she did say "Okay, I'll come back and do a few eppys" - "they" wouldn't tell us. But, I'm one of those people who tends to convince myself that good things won't happen, so that I don't get disappointed. Then, if the good thing does happen, I'm just WAY more excited. :) Call me crazy. :)

Well, it's all from sd-1 really. I will try to find a link to some of the Lena Olin related stuff.
Talula62
06-24-2004, 02:51 PM
All the Lena talk that is most recent can be found in SPOILER threads. Not that there are any big, specific, concrete spoilers. It's mostly who is writing/directing the first couple eppys and the general storyline direction, in very vague terms. Basically, proven and trusted sources are not really convinced either way of a Lena Olin return.
That's really all that's factual so I don't even feel the need to link it. The rest is talk about what they should do if she doesn't come back...end her storyline without her, keep it like it was in season 3, recast her, etc etc.

Whoops - ETA she won't say which one is true and which one is false until tonight.
Talula62
06-28-2004, 08:42 PM
Well, it's done now and out. David Anders will be recurring and not a regular in Season 4. That's Sark. :( But, he'll still be there, just *not as much* as Syd, Vaughn, Jack, Sloane, and probably Nadia. Terry O'Quinn's character - Kendall - was recurring but for a while there in Season 2, he was in every single eppy, just for a couple minutes or so at a time.
I looooove me some Sark but I guess that this is alright - seeing as how he is in CIA custody right now. I mean, the guy can't escape within one episode of getting caught every damn time, right?? Maybe he'll just be in custody for the first half of the season and so we'll see him less frequently, as there isn't much to show when one is sitting behind bars.
I'm starting to wonder if Sark hasn't been working with Jack this whole time.

Wait - the spoiler sources have responded to this. They say that little blurb is "misleading." One says there will still be a little sci-fi and the other says Rambaldi will still be there but just way more in the background, more like season 1.
There is also talk of the "self contained" thing. Apparently, that was said before Season 2 and again before Season 3. But, I definitely think Rambaldi won't be the centerpoint anymore.

Yeah, that's true. I mean, we just saw Nadia and Sloane trot off into the sunset together to go find the sphere, or whatever. But, I think alot of the problem with Season 3 was that we just never got any answers to anything. Nothing ever really made any sense. And they'd be turning EVERYTHING back to Rambaldi. I liked it better in Season 1 and 2 when he was there - they were trying to find out about him and SOME of the missions had to do with him, but the whole thing didn't revolve around him.
But Season 3 - the green ball of goo and Nadia channeling him - if they don't do that anymore, I'll be just fine. Tell me Rambaldi isn't about destroying the universe please, because that's a little out there for me.

Go here (http://sd-1.net/index.php?act=Search&nav=au&CODE=show&searchid=5abcce6c94a2e9b4036dc71c94331700&search_in=posts&result_type=posts) if you can - it's a listing of all her posts over there - and go exactly half way down that page to where it has a post with just "click for spoiler" in bold. It's in there.
Not all the missions had to do with him, true, but the whole story did revolve around him because everything in the big picture pointed to him. And while S3 was frustrating(me and minigun killed ourselves trying to figure it all out many times) I kind of like never knowing what to believe, always having my mind blown, time after time. Its the one show where you can never figure it all out, and thats what I like. As long as they keep shocking me, I will be happy. But don't get rid of rambaldi permenently is all im saying. Because you really can't since they are this deep in with him.

^^Yeah, I agree. And yeah, I do also like not being able to figure out every single thing. That keeps it fresh and exciting and unlike other shit on TV.
Also, it kinda can't disappear completely, since this whole "Syd and Nadia will battle to the death" thing was brought up. The only way they can get rid of that is to be like, "Uh, yeah, I made all that shit up" and that would be LUDICROUS. :)

The only way I'll forgive ABC and J.J. is if they have Jennifer Garner in Lingerie or a Bikini every episode. That would keep it fresh for me! :monkey

Point taken. It would be okay with me if she was in a bikini (for a small part of) every episode also. :)

Ehhh - I don't think I'd like that actually. It sounds kinda interesting but a) there would just be another triangle. Now, that doesn't necessarily upset me because I am psycho-obsessed with Vaughn and Syd, because I'm not at all. I like them but the show doesn't revolve around them for me. But, a triangle ain't cool for another season in a row. I mean, Syd will be ODing on angst.
I'd like to see Syd hanging out with people at her house again though.

Well, I'm not sure I believe he's a sellout. I mean - it seems like it - but why should he be as he seems, when no one else on this lovely show ever is. :) Maybe he's been loyal to Irina this whole time and we just haven't seen it.
Though I will say that I personally think he became a bit of a pansy when Lauren was all bossing him around. That was not cool. That's why it would have been nice if he killed her, or at least really truly betrayed her.

You're right, he really kinda is too young to be taken seriously. At least he KNOWS those 4 can kick his ass but he's gotta be working with one of them to be able to play the others well enough that he doesn't get killed.
That's awesome that Season 3 is already a best seller. Good message for the idiots running ABC. Maybe now they'll actually promote and advertise it.

Or is he dead? Why do you want us to think he is dead so badly? I think you have mentioned this before. What are you hiding, or. . . who are you hiding? Where is Danny? I'm not falling for this, not this time!

Fine, if you must know, I, Irina Derevko, have developed my own doubling machine. When Danny was killed, I captured him, resurrected him, and doubled him into........................Suit and Glasses!!!! <insert evil maniacal laugh> Yes, I realize this makes almost no logical sense, as my little daughter Sydney was being tortured by Suit and Glasses whilst Danny was being whacked. But, what can I say, I'm shady like that kids.

Here's the really interesting part.
"I can tell you my mission statement: Go back to what works about the show," Abrams announces. "Go back to character first. Go back to Sydney and Vaughn as a relationship that you rooted for. Go back to Sydney and Jack as a conflict of parent and child. I don't want to say too much, because I don't want to give away where it's going, but go back the dynamics that made the show absolutely function. The irony is that I felt the show was at its best.. when SD-6 existed and that's sortta the biggest hint that I will give in that storyline."

Wow.
Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Victor Garber, Alias, ABC; Brad Dourif, Deadwood, HBO; Michael Imperioli, The Sopranos, HBO; Steve Buscemi, The Sopranos, HBO; John Spencer, The West Wing, NBC
I think it'll be tough to beat Michael Imperioli. He had a couple of absolutely fantastic episodes and has yet to win an Emmy. But, votes could easily split over these HBO guys, esp. MI and SB. So, that could help SpyDaddy!
Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Jennifer Garner, Alias, ABC; Amber Tamblyn, Joan of Arcadia, CBS; Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NBC; Edie Falco, The Sopranos, HBO; Allison Janney, The West Wing, NBC
I think our girl has a good chance here. New people (Amber Tamblyn) don't normally get the Emmy. Edie Falco has won 3 of the 4 times she's been nominated, but last year there was NO WAY anyone would beat her after that season's finale ep. JG deserves it! :)

Nope. JG only ever won the Golden Globe, I believe, and that was for Season 1. Edie Falco won last year, wasn't eligible in 2002 (weird HBO schedules), and won in 2001 and 1999. In 2000, Allison Janney won.
I only know all this because I'm also a HUGE Sopranos fan - okay, and I'm a bit of an acting awards show whore, obviously. But my Soprano love does not come anywhere close to my Alias addiction!

Gypsie, you'll soon come to discover that minigun is actually THE horniest man EVER. :)
Not that you aren't right about Jennifer Garner. Thing is, she's too sweet. You want to be her friend, not lick her. Sydney Bristow, on the other hand, now I would lick her. I do need to quit talking about licking though.
i do have an insatiable sex drive, and jennifer garner doesnt exactly have a calming effect on that

so im taking a shower this morning, thinking about sydney when it hits me. she is super hot. and remember how vaughns dad was assigned to protect the passenger and bring her back? syd must have had someone watching out for her too, i mean she is the freakin chosen one. maybe jack was assigned to watch over her and document her life. maybe "jack" is not her father. maybe "jack" killed her real father long ago.
before everyone gets their panties bunched up, i know that jack bristow is almost positively syds dad. all im saying is that the passenger had a gaurdian (bill vaughn) so why shouldnt the chosen one, who is more important?
possible chosen one gaurdians:
michael vaughn
jack bristow

Very interesting. I will agree - if Nadia had a protector, Syd's got to have one too. Could be Jack, though it would be interesting if it was Sloane. I don't think it would be Vaughn - too young when she was born. It has to be someone older who was an agent during her childhood.
But, I do that if Vaughn is involved in any role, prophesized or not, it would be to keep Syd and Nadia apart so they can't destroy each other or the world or whatever. :)

the only person i really liked besides jack was palmer, so im sad to see him go. i hated chase and still curse his name everyday. kim was a stupid winer. sherry was a coniving bitch who should have been shot in the stomach. oh wait...
nina was cool to have around but she died the way i wanted, shot by jack. all i really care about is jack going crazy on people. i hope they dont put jack on ritalin this season. that would blow. Back the truck up. Do you have intel I don't, for once. ;) Teehee. That isn't set in stone yet, is it? Last I heard a move would depend on the success of Desperate Housewives.
I don't think they should move. A) Come on, Sundays wouldn't be the same without Alias. It would be like moving Sopranos to Tuesday or something. B) if they did move, they'd be moving from competition with the Sopranos to competition with what - CSI and Law and Order, Original Recipes - right? Is that really better?? I don't think it is. Sopranos is only 10 eps in the last season and we don't even know for sure when Sopranos will be airing yet. Plus, HBO re-airs and the major networks, of course, do not.
Even with CSI pissing off it's viewers this week and L&O now minus Lenny and minus....blond chick....as long as Sam Waterston is there, people will keep religiously watching.

List of Kickass Jacks:
Jack Bristow - President of Kickass
Jack McCoy
Jack Bauer
Jack from Will and Grace - you know he's frickin hilarious
Jack from Three's Company - he was frickin hilarious in his time too, wasn't he? I'm a bit young to really remember. :)

Talula62
07-22-2004, 05:57 PM
Hey - interesting news on our favorite creator/writer/director. Straight from the Vartan Hos. http://www.vartanho.com/news/index.html It's Wednesday's news.
Season 4 = Mission Impossible?
If you're wondering what J.J. is up to these days, it ain't "Alias." He's just scored big! According to Cinescape, "Sources for Coming Attractions report that J.J. Abrams, the creator of ABC's hit spy series 'Alias,' is the new director of 'Mission: Impossible 3.' Abrams replaces Joe Carnahan who left the project due to creative differences earlier this week. M:I 3 is scheduled to begin filming in Berlin next month." Hope that didn't ruin your Wednesday! At least we still have the "Angel" writers. :)
Well, I'm excited for J.J. but he did say he wasn't going to let the writing of the show get away from him for this season. Writing has already started - maybe he's confident enough in the first several eps (first one he wrote himself, I believe) to be gone for a while and consult from a distance. JJ, if you are reading this, (yeah - totally) don't bullshit me this time like you did with that "Oh, you'll all love Lauren, she's great" crap. :)
Minigun, you are beating me. Also, I am unfamiliar with this Jack Carter. *runs to google*
Talula62

there are so many things to explain in s4. its impossible to wrap it up in a 2 hour episode, so that all other eps can be "self contained"
irina
rambaldi
nadia
jacks documents
vaughns dad
the man
Talula62
07-22-2004, 11:39 PM
I don't buy the self-contained. They said Season 2 and Season 3 were each going to be "more self contained" but they weren't. Hello, ESPECIALLY S3. So, I don't buy it.
Honestly, since S4 is supposed to have a S1 feel to it, I think we're going to be seeing a lot more mission-focused episodes, so I can see them being more self-contained as in, the mission begins and ends, and occasionally we get a cliff hanger.

I can't imagine them entirely wrapping up and doing away with storylines such as these. I mean, I think Season 4 will be about Jack but I think we'll find out what the documents say pretty soon in. I think the whole season we'll be wondering about Nadia and about Jack.
For the rest, I don't think they end the stories, but I think they'll kind of do something to move them back from being the total focus of everything - Rambaldi!!
But Irina and Bill Vaughn - I think we'll get tidbits like we always have. Now The Man, who knows!!

Talula62
07-23-2004, 05:22 PM
Okay, on this wrapping-up talk, here is talula's list of stuff she needs taken care of:
1) I want The Man wrapped up. Am I supposed to be caring about The Man, still? I mean, we had one ep in S3 with those two words mentioned, so my interest in The Man has diminished. Perhaps it's because I still kinda assume it's Irina and she's not around. But then, why would she have lied to Syd and told her she had to shoot her b/c a dude was watching that she needed to work with later. I don't think that actually means she's NOT The Man and the other guy IS....it could just mean that he came into town for an important meeting with Irina.... So, just tell me who it is already.
2.) I want to know what the freaking Covenant really is and who is in charge 'round there. Uh, so they are Rambaldi freaks, yes? And so they needed to kidnap Syd and brainwash her. Okay, WHY??? Because she's a superspy? Alright, I guess I buy that. But, does The Man = Head of the Covenant. It would be much less messy if "he" were.
3.) I want Sloane to be evil once more. Deliciously evil. That would be really nice. The end.

Quick everyone! To TWoP! http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=707 It's the Tubey Time Awards. Alias is up for tons of stuff....
Best Returning Show
Worst "Improved" Show (many a TWoPer hate them some Season 3)
Best Drama
Best Finale
3 Best Guest Star noms (Ricky Gervais, Isabella - of course - and Quentin)
Best Credit Sequence
2 Best Sidekick noms (Weiss and Marshall)
2 Biggest WTF Moment noms (2 years and Brainwaves, I think)
2 Most Ludicrous Plotline noms (Nadia and 2 years)
Show with the most HoYay
TWoP Show with the Highest Actual Quality
3 Favorite Character noms (Jack, Syd, and Vaughn)
2 Best Relationships (Syd/Jack and S/V)
Worst Relationship (y'all got this one right?)
Least Favorite Character (this one too?)
Favorite Actress (NOT Melissa George)
2 Favorite Actors - Victor Garber and Ron Rifkin
Least Favorite Actor/Actress (NOT Jennifer Garner ha!)
2 Most Unwelcome New Cast Additions (Lauren and Nadia)
And, of course, Best Performance by an Inanimate Object, which I thought was going to be for Lauren's Black Eyeliner 'O' Doom but Rambaldi Juice got the nom instead. Damn that TWoP is funny. :)
Oh yeah, and most overrated show - which is total bullshit. But, go in there and vote for some other shit instead!!!

Sorry, all man here. But if I was a chick I'd definitely be a lesbian because I'd still want to make sweet love to Jennifer Garner.

Well, I'm a breeder like many of y'all, but I do frequent a gay bar with my friends. We were fixing to leave the other night and walked by this guy wearing an Alias shirt - all black, with the Alias logo on it - and one of my best friends (who IS a lesbian) says "LOVE Alias" to him and his friend looked at him and said, "What is it with lesbians and Alias?"
Now, I'm positive that probably has much more to do with the fact that these two guys are both gay and spend most of their time going out in gay space where there just aren't a whole lot of straight women but....it was still pretty funny.

Hmmmm.....I was quite discouraged with the shit going on around this board several days ago. However, I will overlook that which discouraged me and issue this blanket reminder (that applies particularly well to Ants who have difficulty behaving themselves):
I am Irina Derevko. In my book, you ain't shit without your dental records. Don't think I'm fucking around either - I shot my own kid, remember?
Also, Alias rocks my face and it's less than a month until S3 comes out, right? I can't wait to pour over the eppys looking for clues. Though, I'm not sure there will be that many - I can't figure out how far in advance JJ plans the storylines out and to what extent he injects clues, ya know? Then again, when I watch S2 I'll see Jack acting weird and think...."hmmm, is that a clue?" Maybe I'm looking too hard!!

yes but you only shot her because they were watching you from the next room. What must i do to prove to you?

Yes, but the point is that I shot her. I could pull a trigger of a gun aimed at my own daughter, or father, like some people who are totally lame. :)

Damnit. I meant to say "I could pull a trigger of a gun aimed at my own daughter, or father, UNLIKE some people who are totally lame." But, whoops, I suck. :)
That refers, of course, to Lauren. Because she's totally lame and the diet coke of evil (just one calorie...not evil enough) because she couldn't follow through with shooting her dad. Irina, on the other hand, could follow through with shooting Syd and this shows that she isn't scared to kick people's asses when they misbehave, which was the moral of my original post. :)

Alright - *tops* - don't tell me no one wants to come in here anymore. I'll quit threatening a person now, promise :)
I've had houseguests for the past week and a huge exam the week before that and my best friends returned from a two week trip the week before that. SO.....I haven't watched any Alias in quite a while. :) I will watch The Passage Part II this weekend and maybe more.

And here's Regina's Specials: She's the woman who writes the recaps. She's freaking hilarious and she'll be doing commentary on the DVDs for The Two, I believe - which is the first ep of S3.
Worst Appropriation of Tom Cruise Movie Technology Award
The "flexible rubbery masks that not only totally hide faces but also change your bone structure and are also completely removable and also don't leave a trace of spirit gum" that Alias borrowed from Mission: Impossible are not realistic. In fact, they're so stupid and unbelievable that when the first Charlie's Angels movie borrowed one for Drew Barrymore's character, we laughed. Nay, guffawed. So what in the HELL were they doing in the season finale of Alias? Sure, the show's hardly based in reality, but even the biggest fans couldn't suspend disbelief for this load of horseshit. Congratulations on your win! What's next, time travel via tesseract? -- Regina
Best Use of Time Travel Via Tesseract Award
Kudos and huzzahs to whomever it is on the Alias writing staff who was responsible for coming up with the not-unrealistic-at-all idea that Vaughn can be crapped out in a Los Angeles hospital with a punctured lung one minute, and on a cliffside in Palermo, Sicily with guns a-blazin' the next. Again, this show ain't about reality. We know that. But unless Vaughn went to the nearest ATM, withdrew an amount roughly the size of the national debt, and purchased himself his very own grounded Concorde, there's no way in HELL he could have made it to Syd's rescue in the time allotted. We look forward to Season Four when Vaughn will board an airship, head to Saturn, save Syd's ass, and return to the CIA in the time it takes to froth the head of a tasty cappuccino. -- Regina
Worst Treatment of a New Character -- EVER -- Award
Goes to the writers and producers of Alias and, by default, the character of Lauren Reed. We were programmed to hate her. How could you not hate the woman who stole Vaughn away from Sydney? But how Lauren was used and abused throughout the season didn't really help us hate her any less. First she's nice, she's perfect, she's the sweetest thing ever and we're supposed to lurrrrve her. Then she's evil and dark and totally dicking Vaughn over and we're supposed to haaaate her. Then she really loves Vaughn. Then she doesn't. Then she screws Sark and it's not even sexy and it somehow makes us like HIM less. Any damn way they used this character, it just came out wrong. And blaming it on Melissa George and her omni-accent simply won't cut it. We were going to hate her no matter what, regardless of who was in the role, but perhaps if they'd used her properly and given her better stuff to do than, say, whine at her damn husband all the time, we might have hated her a wee bit less. -- Regina
Best Character Played By Someone Who's Not Even There
Spy Mommy. Hey, Lena! Stop making lutefisk for Lasse and GET BACK ON THE DAMN SHOW. -- Regina
