Well... tagged just because. There's going to be Sark, Vaughn, Nadia, Weiss, and Irina stuff in here. "Michael Vartan will be coming back after the hiatus. The when and for how many episodes is still up in the air." From Jodi at sd-1. Media outlets are starting to say that as well.

Filming for the 100th episode, which may or may not be the finale but probably so, starts Feb 22nd. Vartan is done in Australia on Feb 10. Does that mean he'll be back before the finale? I don't know.

In the works for the finale is Lena, I guess just for one ep. DeputyDirector at allalias.com says Mia will be back "and not just for another unconscious hospital cameo." I dunno if that means tonight or later in the season. I assume it means later. They're also tossing around trying to get Francinator, Anna Espinosa, and Will back. Oh, and Katya.

Sark, on the other hand, is supposedly going to be rather present in the future. Kristin says he's supposed to be back after haitus for 5 episodes. And he'll be knocking boots with someone else too. He scolded Kristin in an interview because she and everyone else knows who else is going to be back. He likened it to finding out if Diane would come back to Cheers. :lol

Finally, Weiss is in the storyline for the return-from-hiatus ep. Whether that means he'll actually be on screen or it will just be his voice or what is unclear. BUT, there's more to his storyline that we have yet to discover.

Yea that was kind of weird, maybe he was just a pawn because at the beginning of the episode they made it seem like he was the head of this whole thing but then obviously he isn't.

It was announced about a month ago now...it's a combination of things, basically the show has had piss poor ratings for a long time now and ABC loses money because of that, creative ideas (only so much you can do with a show like this and keep it fresh each week), and collectively all the producers of the show have decided it's time to let it come to a close. It's an amicable ending and all parties agree it's just time for it to go. Most fans of the show knew going into this season that it was going to be the end so it really wasn't a shock when they announced it...it's just run it's course and by the end we'll have over 100 episodes to look back on DVD and watch over and over again.

Oh I know there were good ones along the way but the quality wasn't there week after week. I have to admit though that I have enjoyed this season alot more than most of season 3 and 4.

I feel little to no motivation to actually watch Season 4 now that I have it on DVD. I think after I get past eps 5-9 or so, it'll pick up. Cuz, didn't it? i like the season 2 episodes after they take down SD-6 better than the ones in season 2 before SD-6 goes down. It think the second half of S2 has THE BEST episodes in all of the seasons. Sloane out on his own doing crazy rambaldi shat. then irina breaks out and they are hunting Sloane and Irina. Alias is all about Rambaldi not SD-6. they couldn't have her stay at SD-6 for 5 seasons, it would have gotten pretty old.

the CIA hunting sloane and Irina is awesome, the show starting going down when Lena Olin left and her Charactor was left up in the air, and when sloane started working WITH the CIA.

Supposedly the show will comeback the first week of March and all signs are pointing to a two hour relaunch.

Um, well, yeah it's been relatively quiet. There was a foiler a while back having to do with JJ having problems with ABC and wanting to move to NBC or some kind of ridiculous shit like that but it was busted super fast. It's still all about if/when/how Vartan/Weiss/Will/Nadia/etc will be around.

Usually when the spoiler threads are going nuts, I specifically hear that they are going nuts and THEN I go see what's happening. That hasn't happened since the day of the last episode. Otherwise, I don't keep up.

Welcome back Paula. It's on hiatus right now for JGar's maternity leave. I think it has been a great season so far...and dare I say it better than much of last season and all of season 4. It will be back for the final episode run Mar. 2. Series finale in May, DVD release probably in October.

Yea they announced it back in November...but we knew it was coming anyways so it wasn't really that big of deal. This season is just getting ramped up but the reveal at the end on the last episode before the hiatus it was HUGE!!!!! We won't tell you though...but it was HUGE!!

I'm not down on the last part of our Alias season. I mean, I had been for like a year now :lol but once they finally announced that it was ending, I think I just felt like "Okay, no more bitching. No more nitpicking. Just watch these people who you love do their thing."

I won't really miss it either. I never miss shows when they end though. Because they always end for a reason.

Playwright Jon Robin Baitz and actor Ron Rifkin, who have teamed on several plays Off-Broadway, will join forces again on the new television series "Brothers and Sisters."

The new ABC series will be written by Baitz and star Rifkin as Uncle Sol, the brother of the show's patriarch figure. It will be executive produced and directed by Ken Olin, the former "thirtysomething" actor who is now a busy director in television.

Olin directed several episodes of "Alias," the espionage series than turned Rifkin into a small screen star. He played the evil underworld lord Arvin Sloane on the series, which concludes later this season. Baitz, who has spent the bulk of his writing career in the theatre, penned one episode for the program.

Baitz is the author of the plays The Substance of Fire, Three Hotels and The Paris Letter. Rifkin starred in all three.

Yea I saw that he won't be directing...he will though possibly co-write it. Which really isn't a big deal...i'm sure Ken Olin will be directing the finale and in my opinion is a better director of the series than JJ.

Oh, cool. I was hoping JJ would be involved with the writing because I think the finale should be directed by Ken Olin, for many reasons. It would just be nice to see JJ be involved in some aspect.
