Alright. I don't even know where this is, I just had to give up and search for it. So....*TOPS*. Who has S3 yet?? I got mine and I watched the deleted scenes and blooper real. There is a hidden "egg" of sorts on Disc 5 in the bonus section. You go into Bonus and click up on your remote like 5 or 6 times and Jen is supposed to pop up in a clip from the PALEY festival, talking about Syd in Season 3.

Also, the psychological conditioning scene is in the deleted scenes!!! You should check it out even though if you were around in April, you probably already read it when we were talking about how ABC never took down their summary that included that scene.

Agreed, agreed. If Edie Falco would have won, I'd have been okay with that. But Allison Janney - I dunno - I don't like her for some reason. The thing about the Emmy's is that it's a bunch of old people who like other old(er) people and/or older people sorts of stuff.

On the upside, Jen can act the hell outta a mediocre script, which we saw a bit of in Season 3, and better scripting and such in Season 4 could mean it's more likely Jen will win in the next year. Esp for the Emmy's next year, as Edie and The Sopranos won't be eligible since there will be no eps in 2005. Is West Wing going down the toilet?

Actually, since Lost is on at 8pm and then Alias would be on at 9pm. It would not compete against Law and Order or CSI:NY which are both on at 10pm. The only competition would be the West Wing which has had its audience decline over the past 2 seasons and is a dying show. CBS only has two comedies on at the time which have paltry ratings. I think this timeslot would be the best bet for Alias! Just move the stupid Bachelor to Mondays after football season is over and we'll be all set.

No syd read on the docs that her father but a hit out on her mom, but this was only done to protect syd because her mom had put a hit out on her. I believe the documents at the end of last season did have syd's name on it though. So I dunno if this has changed or if there is more to come.

Here's my simplified uninformed thoughts on Sark. I got the gist he was a former good guy who really was a nasty guy and nobody really likes him, espeically Sydney.

Um, let's see Ang - they fast forward to back at APO and Syd is asking Jack why Nadia thinks CreepyWifeKiller killed their mom. He says he told her to give her closure and that sometimes "a satisfying lie is better than the awful truth" (cue title of episode...lol..."The Awful Truth").

She gives him the stink eye and walks outside to hang out with Nadia, Vaughn, Dixon, Marshall, and Weiss who has apparently become part of APO. They continue looking back and forth at each other a couple times until we zoom in on Jackie and then fade to black.

I could recap, eh? I only know that much ridiculous detail because I just watched it again last night cuz I recorded it. :)

Okay, Jack told Sloane that knowing "everything" about Irina's death would "incapacitate" Syd. So, let's assume she knows everything and that we know everything too. Is she incapacitated?? I mean, sure, knowing that your mother had a contract hit out on your life would normally be totally incapacitating, so I understand that language usage. However, Syd doesn't appear incapacitated to me. And Jack didn't actually say she'd been incapacitated to HER, he said it to Sloane. She's pissed off but she is functioning completely normally aside from being totally pissed off at Jack. Which is not even new to her.

So, if she's supposed to be incapacitated by learning the truth but isn't incapacitated - does it mean that she hasn't actually learned the truth?? Are they just doing a bad job of episode continuity? Do they think they're showing her as incapacitated? Is it like, she's too busy to be incapacitated? Are they going to deal with it later?
Doesn't this seem all seem a little too clean and easy? I mean, obviously for Nadia, but even for Syd?

Am I reeling from last season's inability to close plot lines and just assuming that everything Jack and Sloane ever say is a lie? I guess I'm waiting for something incapacitating to happen. And I choose to cling to that only because this lack of an overlying super-duper secret/plot is boring me. Hit me with some crazy shit JJ. :)

Well, when Irina married Jack, yeah she didn't love him, she was assigned to do it, like Lauren...and Elsa Caplan...and AlisonFrancie...and why does this always happen on this show. Anyway.

But, she fell in love with him. I mean, that isn't something they really like talk about in the show but she did. You could see it in Season 2. There was something real between them.

No one really knows why she allegedly had this affair with Sloane. They don't talk about it. You should rent the DVDs my dear. You could also go to the website at abc.com and go into Alias and there are FAQs - some of them are dated - but they might have good answers to questions you have from not having watched it from the start. But seriously, the pilot is the best episode of television you'll ever watch. Get thee to Blockbuster.

i rented the first season and so far i have finished 4 dvd's and am on the fifth....let me just say, its the best show i have ever seen!! I'm totally in love with Vaughn but I like will too......i still cant figure out why sydney isn't interested in Will I mean he's totally in love with her....but dont tell me anything, I'm thinking maybe Will dies because I haven't seen him on the new season...and Sark "mmmmmmmmm"....im gonna start on the second season after i finish. Since I was watching the first season in one of the first episodes, sydney is taking a bath, I think its probably after something happened with her father (as usual) and there is this song playing, a woman singing, I dont know the name of the song but it sort of goes "all the things I never said but I should have said, all the things I never did but I should have done" I know this is a long shot, but I thought I'd try.

It's "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush. JJ loves this song. It's also on the Felicity soundtrack and it also happens to have been played in that Part of Five episode when Bailey is all drunk and crashes the Jeep while Sarah is with him in it. She has to go to the hospital and it shows him going in there...playing that song...very dramatic song it is. :)

I'd rather not have reruns. Last season was absolute fucking torture waiting for 3 weeks in between eps like 3 or 4 times. That was horseshit. I'd rather have them smushed into this half of the year. P.S. The next ep, Rendezvous, is my FAVORITE. Not the "best" but it's just my personal favorite. So, I think you're really gonna like it. The one after that - Almost Thirty Years - besides the pilot, these two are the best eps of Season 1 hands down.

I think I need to go find a sexy pic of JG to lure the mens back. :)
