I hate it when I get announcements the day something is going to air. Don't they have the gift of foresight? I guess the latest bustle has been all about the split of Phish, so they forgot until the last minute to tell us Trey was on Phish.

Or... maybe I got the delayed reaction in the e-mail world.

Either way, just curious to see if anyone recorded it. I'd really like to see it, but trying to find when it will re-air on KCET is like trying to find D+F IEMs in the download section of antsmarching.

Just curious. Its late. Am I making sense? Am I in the right forum? Trey probably TALKS about Dave... therefore, it belongs.

I saw the last two muinites and all i heard was that, Trey does not feel has ever felt so strongly about a decision before. And knows this is the right thing to do. It is from his heart and would not feel right if he did not follow his feelings. He compared himself to Bruce Springsteen saying that he took breaks for personal reasons and came back later doing huge tours, and that sometimes artists just have to follow the way they feel. No matter how it effects everyone else, no matter how many jobs people loose, he wouldnt feel right continuing with the band. :(

Dave was not uttered at all. In fact, he didn't speak of any other artists at all besides a very valid comparison to Springsteen. As much as I'm so crushed by this decision, Trey spoke very clearly and eloquently, and it's becoming more apparent that this is the right thing to do.
