I think we should start some sort of campaign... whatever you would like to call it... to bring BWBF back. I'm not sure if it would work, but look what happened with the signs and Pig. We might not see it this tour, but the '05 one maybe.

Yeah, trust me, that's going to be the biggest disappointment of the summer. Either they'll tease it and won't play it, or they'll play it and it'll suck hard.

I got to give you a couple more for making such a bad post. This song would be so awesome these days. To hear Boyd rip one out and LeRoi playing his sax would make me smile for a long time. Boyd said a feww months back that they weree working on it so I hope they're going to play it at least once this year.

The only Blue Water's that I real liked were Dave solo or with Tim so I dont know if I wanted to hear with the band this year.

What I wouldn't give to see a show end with Minarets > BWBF. Just like the old days. Ahhh. ;)

At least I was lucky enough to see them both at different shows (3-31 and 6-27-03).

I remember someone meeting Boyd at a book signing at Borders and they asked him about the song. He said the band was working on it and that it might come back this year. Now, if this really is true then that would be tha bomb!!

Noooo. No campaign. It's being worked on already....just.....don't start a campaign...

'Never play the pig' came before Pig. Remember?

:ugh:Lorraine, are you hinting that the return of BWBF is "in the works" --as in, by the band? Or am I just confused.

NOTE TO SOME OF YOU WHO DON'T HANG OUT HERE MUCH: Lorraine knows stuff

don't start a campaign with signs and stuff - like lorraine said it didn't work with pig.

in an interview dave said one time he walked into an arena and on every single seat (before the show) someone had put 'crash' signs (this was when crash went on a bit of a hiatus). he said there was no way he would play the song after seeing that.

so we just have to wait...hopefully boyd is right, and hey, they teased it last year in chicago.

I've never liked Blue Water and i don't know why anyone else does eiether. The song just drags. I mean you're at a show the energy is high, you're loving life, then bang this slow dragging song about suicide comes and just kills the energy. I mean would you really like a show to end with Blue Water? I don't like WYA but i rather end with it than Blue Water. Remeber guys there is a reason Dave stopped playing it.

the beginning of blue water is slow, but the jam really builds up. if boyd is on, the jam is awesome. the only reservation i would have about it being played would be boyd being in tune.

it wouldn't surprise me if the lyrics are being reworked into something other than suicide
