The Legendary Licks series presents the music of a band or artist in a comprehensive play-along package. Each book contains note-for-note transcriptions and detailed performance notes on how to play with a multitude of classic licks, fills, riffs, and solos – complete with recorded demonstrations on CD. Slowed-down versions are also onthe CD for the fast and tricky passages. This pack teaches 12 of DMB's best: Ants Marching • The Best of What's Around • Crash into Me • Crush • Don't Drink the Water • I Did It • Satellite • So Much to Say • Stay (Wasting Time) • Too Much • What Would You Say.
here is a link to the book

Has anyone tried this series? The cd with note for note play along and slowed down versions sounds good.

Use www.dmbtabs.com. They are very good tabs, he strives to me as perfect as possible with his tabs. He tabs them all from videos and watching Dave's hands.
There are even videos of him playing some of the songs.
If you still have problems with some songs, you can always come here and ask questions or use the message board at dmbtabs.com.

the only one at dmbtabs is not very correct is best of what's around, other than that, they are perfect. so if you want bowa, then get the book, even though i have never heard anything about it. also at dmbtabs, he also has videos for some songs as well which are greatly helpful. I myself am working on correct bowa tabs, and am about halfway through w/ the song and will post it here when i'm finished.

oh this will start a ruckus i am sure. what do you think is wrong with jkanter's tab? cause i am pretty sure it is like bang on.
like everyone else said, there are more than enough resources on the net (jkanter's being the most relevant) to get dmb music. the only dave matthews book i would recommend buying is the live at luther tab, because it has timmy's stuff and what not.

www.powertabs.net that is all. and yes, dmbtabs is better in its own way, but for the songs this site has it is by far the best...

bowa is spot on at dmbtabs.com. Ive looked at multiple ways of playing it...and compared that to videos of daves and the dmbtabs.com way is the most exact. I think you may simply be playing it wrong; thats what happened to me for a while.
