So my band is writing a new song, and it happens to be based all off of notes in the HArmonic Minor, specifgically ending on the 2 of the scale...
anyways, I have no idea where to go, from a compositional or theoritcal aspect...if anyone can enlighten me with some theory knowledge, id be much obliged

well all i can say is that try to change your keys in the scale like just go up and down the scale or move from the note and do like a regular scal then a minor. What ever that not is us chords based off it too

the 2nd degree of all the minor scales (natural, melodic, harmonic) are all the same. So you're at liberty to do a lot of things. You can try escape tones starting on the 3rd degree, going up to the fourth and jumping down to the 2nd (for example, in D minor, it'd be F G E).
