e|---------------------------------------------|
B|--------4p3---------4----------3-------------|
G|--------------------0----------3-------------|
D|----5------------5-----------3-----5---------|
A|--3------------6-----------1-------5---------|
E|-----------------------------------3---------|

G|----------------3---------3-----3----------5-|
D|---5------------3------1-----0----------5----|
A|---5------------1---------------------3------|
E|---3-----------------------------------------|

the descending line at the end of the second part of the verse is played lower by dave as some points too, from what i can tell too.

and sometimes he just sits on the 1-3-4(3rd to last chord of the second line)

For what it's worth, someone who went said Dave used a capo at about the third fret on this song.

dave never has used a capo before. it could have been a cord or something in the way. how far away was he from the stage?

no, hes sure it was a capo...thats why he noticed, because it was so weird to see Dave using a capo.

Here's some Capo III for everyone...

e|---------------------------------------------|
B|-------1p0----------1------------------------|
G|--------------------0----------4-------------|
D|----2------------2-------------5----2--------|
A|--0------------3-------------5------2--------|
E|---------------------------3--------0--------|

e|----------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------1-|
G|----------------4---------5-----3-----------2-|
D|---2------------5---------5-----4---------2---|
A|---2------------5------3------2---------0-----|
E|---0------------3-----------------------------|

Pretty typical Dave progression in standard... Am-C-G-E / E-G-C-D-Am. Nothing like I've heard from him before though, I've been wating for him to bust out the capo. Think of it, LWS was the 12 string, Everyday was the Baritone, lately it's been raised B, and now capo tunings. Awesome, I can't wait for the new album if this is how it's going to go.

they're from a disposable camera. I got a cd when I got them developed. I have better resolution ones but they're too big to attach...

this is a pretty easy one, lots of room for variation, its fun. capo 3, start with a regular Am chord and keep the first finger on the B string throughout. Giving each chord what sounds like half a measure:

(X-0-2-2-1-X)[hammer and pulls on the B string]
(X-0-2-2-1-X)
(X-3-2-0-1-X)
(3-X-0-0-1-X)
(0-2-0-0-1-X)
(0-2-0-0-1-X)
(3-X-0-0-1-X)
(X-3-2-0-1-X) (X-2-0-0-1-X)[leads back into start]
REPEAT

enjoy,
j

Is it just me, or is this progression fun as hell to play? I can't stop playing along to the recording. I think the whole progression sounds awesome.

914 "c" stands for cutaway...and the "e" stands for electronics. He still uses the 'Fishman Nat.II series pickup. But wouldnt that technically be considered "ce"?.. or not because it didnt come from the Taylor factory with the pickup already installed? ethier way Taylor dosent make that 914c anymore.
