Ok, so judging by the posts that I've seen over at Nancies, Guillen's tape isn't going to come out for this show. Anyone know of anyone else that was there? This is not an ISO or REQ. I'm just curious as to who else was at the show taping...

I don't believe Lesiak, Furbush, Casey, or Berard were there because the DMB tapers site lists them and none are listed on that date. But, it looks like there aren't many tapers using that site this year.

*edit* possibly Vernal or Willoughby? They were both out in CA for a couple of shows last year.

I saw at least 2 mics stands from where I was sitting.

I saw at least 4 different stands. I guess we'll just have to keep our hopes up. :thumbsup

There were definitely some mic stands on opening acts' sound board platform. I saw Willoughby in San Diego a few rows in front of me, so I'm hoping he was at this incredible show as well. One of the best DMB shows I've EVER seen.

Yeah, it's just not the eTree BT tracker...Anyway, it moves faster than eTree for some reason. I usually get 10-15 k/sec on eTree, and on that tracker, I was getting 20-50 k/sec. Not too shabby!

ok, here's a bit of the deal with this show and other sources. bobby guillen and dave thoma were on the same stand near the back of section a1. i was in row 7 sec a1. b/c we were told about a 10pm curfew we all started running a bit early, the openers were taped, etc etc. long story short the batteries on my jb3 died during the encore, the batteries on dave's jb3 and dat died during the encore, bobby's dat got the full thing with 3 minutes left on the tape but his dat is fucked up and has issues. basically all 3 tapes are counting on bobby's dat being able to be converted so we can have the encore, otherwise none of the tapes will likely see the light of day.

Hey, Jon,
I'm a little dumb, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I just don't know how it works for you guys. What do you mean when you say you all started running early? I always assumed that you would set up, but wouldn't start taping until the break between the opening band and Dave.
Again, forgive the silly question. I just love the tapes and am interested in a little behind the scenes stuff. Thanks for the incredible service you give to all of us. You guys truly are heroes in all of our eyes.

We fucked up. Normally I would wait until the lights go down to roll tape but I was running 4 decks at once (bobby's, my two, and a patcher) so I decided to start early, since we were assured there was a strict 10 pm curfew. There wasn't. My decks crapped out with about 30 seconds to go in watchtower. Thank God I waited a while to start Bobby's deck or we'd all be screwed.

Haven't heard Bev's tape, although I'm sure it sounds good. Mine sounds ok, a little bright to my ears. Bobby's is real solid. Jon I don't have Bobby's entire encore but I can probably get you what you need.

I should have my tape out by the end of the week.
