don't EXPECT that a show should be out in 2 weeks. don't EXPECT because a later show is out that the previous one needs to be. the two week rule is a COURTESY for the tapers so they don't get bombarded with emails and requests.

they don't HAVE to release anything at all. they do it because they want to. stop EXPECTING stuff to be released. when people start demanding and expecting, we may likely never see the shows or see them released months after people start asking(ie 9.2.03 and 9.3.03)... and 7.7.04 still hasn't been released, so stop asking.

Okay yeah people should stop asking but I asked once (b/c I didn't know better I am a newbie) and one guy just made an observation that he thought it was odd one show was out and not another. Totally understand where you're coming from though and I agree but try not to freak some of us don't know any better.:rolleyes: I would eventually like a copy of this show so everyone.......STOP ASKING!!!

for all of you challenging/not understanding/not caring about the 2 week rule I have a suggestion for you:

Go try and tape a show yourself (no trying to be a dick here) and I think you will see what all goes into taping a show. Then convert the show and try to get it out to the masses. After you have done that maybe just maybe you will have a better understanding and appreciation for all the tapers out there.:)

Until then.....chill....you will know when a show is released :monkey

To get back to the original question: I thought that the show was great. Excellent sound. Rain dampened things a little, but no big deal.

The show was great but i can understand why some shows are rushed out...because there is something new/different. Va Beach was a great show, but a pretty common show by this year's tour standards. I'd love to get a copy but I've got plenty of stuff to listen to until it does come available. I know I sure as hell dont want to go through the hassle of taping a show, so I'll take it whenever I can get it.

I LOVED the show! True, the rain sucked afterward, but during the show, I coulda cared less. The guest guitarist did an awesome job too! True, he'll never beat Tim Reynolds, but he kicked ass! The song list, I thought was great because I like WTWE and Crush and stuff, even though a couple of my friends (particularly the guy I was sitting next to) didn't. I can't wait to see DMB next year! w00t! :D

You RULE -- no matter how long it takes you to get a show to the public, i will wait because YOU are the reason why we are all enjoying the shows each day in our cars or stereos once the show is over. the Avi Sareen copy is excellent and i would defiently recommend getting this show not too often you can hear Jamal Millner jam on songs like OSW, Rhyme, Sugar Will, and Grey Street.
