Are tDid anyone other than Scott Brown tape this show, cause I am not really a fan of this recording. He did a great job in getting it so quickly, it's just not as clear as I like. I'm pretty picky with my shows that I DL, which is why i tend to get mostly shows that Eric Naylor tape.

are you kidding me?
i ran 2 rigs up front, dealt with shitty hartford crowds all alone and made 2 tapes that are pretty damn clear (and from about 20 rows closer than anyone else). if that's not good enough for you, then go tape it your damn self

Scott....that kid is an idiot and a thief....don't waste your time with him
Your tapes from 7-16 and 7-17 are awesome....2 of the best I've heard this tour and I've listened to most of them
Thanks again for your hard work and getting quality tapes out in a timely manner:)

Ok--you see that he's posted in this exact place before. Right above you in fact. So you go ahead referring to him in third person and dissing his work? You're allowed to say that a recording is not your favorite but don't refer to someone as "he" when they're posting in this thread and you can just have a meaningful dialogue WITH one of the best tapers in the biz.

I didn't read the entire thread cause I don't have time for that so so i didn't see that he was in the thread. I never ever bashed his recording, just said it wasn't my preference, that isn't bad, and I thanked him for being such a quality taper and doing such a good job. It is ok to say something isn't your preference you know...And Scott don't get defensive I never ever said your tapes suck or anything, just said this one wasn't my thing. So for you to say "do it yourself is completly uncalled for.
As for everyone calling me an idiot and whatnot, get a life

That statement alone is the equivalant of Kicking someone dog, and pouring sugar in their gas tank.
While even though you never came out and said that his recording suck, that sentence alone can be quite demoralizing enough.
Tapers never get anything out of recording shows, except the knowledge that the are spreading the tunes, and at the same time watching one of their favorite bands (Thats the 10 seconds when they are not staring at their equipment like its a newborn baby).
A little advice, in the future, just ask "does anyone know if their are any other sources available other than the "Chest Rockwell Source"? Thats good enough.
I Think You can see where I am going with this. While Eric Naylor may enjoy seeing that statement, Scotts gotta feel like he has just been slapped in the face. A little diplomacy goes along way my friend.
And Scott's got a point, if your that picky, Try recording it yourself, I believe there are a few web sites out there that can tell you how to get started (Im not sure of the sites, trying doing a word search of "Recording Shows", Ive seen that thread started here a few times).
TOO ALL TAPERS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR RECORDING THE SHOWS, AND LUGGING ALL THAT SHIT IN, AND PUTTING UP WITH THE CROWDS, AND NOT ACTUALLY GETTING TO WATCH THE BAND, AND PUTTING UP WITH SECURITY, AND ETC...ETC...ETC....Your Work is much appreciated.

Thanks for your advice, and you're right. I just re read my last statement and I can see how it came off that way, but that def wasn't my intention. I listen to a couple of Scott's sources. I appreciate you giving me some great advice though, and not being a dickhead like everyone else calling me names and whatnot, some people just need to do that crap to make themselves feel decent about themselves i guess.
