I usually wait for the shows to reach the newsgroups but I want to start using BT. I have read alot about it and have adjusted my firewall to open ports 6881-6689 and my average download speed rate is 15kbs while my upload is 30kbs. This is with 25 seeders and 300 leechers. I was just wondering if these speeds are exspected or if there is anything else I can do to improve them. Thanks.

sounds about right. it just depends on how fast the seeders are uploading. not sure what else you can do, maybe try different bt software ...

Is there bit torrent software that you reccommend? I have been using "Shadow's Experimental" created by Bram Cohen. I have no complaints but if there is a better one out there, I'd be interested in trying it out. Thanks.

I went to the show, and it was my first DMB concert. It was absolutely amazing. I sat in Row S somewhere around Section 200. I was right up in front in the center; the seats were amazing. Anyway, that BitTorrent thing won't work for me, is there any other way to download the concert?

And yes, I know this is not the right forum for such requests / offers, but I figured I would just answer the request within the thread...

Don't let my low postcount scare you, I've been a lurker here for months and actively trade elsewhere.
