Can anyone who downloaded this show speak about the quality? Is it as good as the other shows we have been getting recently?

How do you know if you've been banned. I know it's the question I never wanted to have to ask but since this evening I have had nooooo luck downloading anything...The pages won't load to show whats available thru tour central. I am quite new to this but would love a collection to share as well, but most of all I hope i didn't piss anyone off????

this show isn't on the server yet.

the white is pretty tight. not much crowd noise at all.

i'll verify the tracks and upload it tonight and let mike take it from there.:)

White's has a lot of bass, so much that it distorts very often. Other than that, sounds great.

greppson

i'm not hearing any distortion...

edit: but i know one or both nights fonzi seemed to be having some bass troubles, they kept adjusting during and in between songs.

It's definately there, especially in the kickdrum. Your speakers may not bring it out.

i'm listening with stereo headphones plugged directly into my comp and it sounds fabulous.

there are parts where boyd's mic is a little high... and on ants, roi's sax was a little high in the intro, but it seems to be all evened out.

I'm talking about in the lower frequencies, close to 20hz. Yes otherwise the balance is wonderful. I just curbed the bass in winamp and it sounds even better(a good idea for aud recordings in some cases).

different playback systems have varying tolerances for lower frequencies. you can attenuate to your liking with your equalizer. the cranked up low-end can be attributed to the subcardioids. that coupled with the fact that i was inches from the cabs/subs.

Yeah, I did this in winamp and it sounds excellent.

Tank you Gary! you understood my question:) I like the tape of White for this night but it has too much bass for my cd player. I dunno its something about Naylors tapes that my discman, car stereo and computer speakers like. Its very weird Same way with Malers night 2 spac tape very freaking annoying:BANG

damn y'all, is the bass really that bad? it may be a little heavy, but you should have a bass attenuator on your stereo system at the very least to take care of that. i like the tight bottom end personally. the tape isn't distorted or saturated, just thumps a little more. depending on your system, as i mentioned, the threshold may not be the greatest.

i actually did some post-EQ with a light roll-off below 60 Hz. i also ran a roll-off on the preamp during the show. i will admit, my mics are as flat as they come. as a consequence, they suck up the bass!

...and no, naylor wasn't there. :)

Not knocking the recording just saying its heavy as hell on my system *shrug* I mean im listening to Malers 7.2 and 7.3 now and I still have the same problem. I have no clue why Naylors sounds betteron my system. I mean Malers 7.2 isn't bad on my comp setup multimedia speakers but I will burn a test disk to listen on my discman

kick drum on whites recording is a bit shaky on my computer. I can make it sound decent with the eq, though that cuts out stefan quite a bit..though I think if I had better speakers the drum would sound better. aside from that its a superb recording, really clear sound.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing recording of the first show yet, but can someone tell me if you can hear Boyd during "the stone?" I couldn't hear a single note of his during that tune, but I'm hoping that it made it to the tape. He seemed to be playing his heart out. I could hear him during later parts of the show.

Dave and Carter were particularly pleased with Recently.
