They both sounded good to me, albeit I listened to them on my computer, and not with good speakers. Hoyts sounded like it was probably cleaner, with less crowd noise. I for one do not mind some crowd noise on the shows, as it seems more like a concert experience. There is volume adjustment during Too Much on Hoyts. Other than that, they both sound good to me.

I've heard a little of Hoyt's. It sounds great in terms of music, but the vocals are definitely a little "off". Haag's is going up on the newsgroup now so I'm going to check out some of that after I get Hoyt's d/l. I don't think you can get much of a better location than Hoyt did, but maybe Haag's equip. was better... I don't know until I listen to Haag's.

Haag's is louder, but I think I like Hoyt's better. I'll wait and see how Shambro's is before burning.
Haag's has much more treble clarity than Hoyt's, but less bass. I have yet to hear Shambro's, but if it was the source for the new song clips, it might be the best.

Anyone heard anything about Shambro's source? I'm looking to get his just because the original four songs released on 6-18 sound the best of all the recordings I've heard... Hoyt's sounds almost too distorted with the bass.

go to sharing the groove (www.sharingthegroove.org) and read the faqs on how to get started. Both sources are there and available for dl, and right now they are very fast due to a lot of seeders. You will need to download a bit torrent program. it is all quite confusing if you are unfamiliar. just do a google for bit torrent and go the sharing the groove. In St. Louis they didn't have the bass stacks turned up very loud at all. You can definately tell a difference between the first night and the following 3 I ran the very same setup last night (creek2) and the tape came out with a significantly more even treble/bass ratio. Not to mention in St. Louis I was much closer to the bass stacks than I was at creek.

My ISP blows (anyone that follows my posts knows this) I'm posting from dialup right now. Only a couple more months on this ISP and then I can switch. So right now putting sources on my server does no good because you guys won't get them because my ISP only like to keep me online about 50% of the time.

Hi all. I am new here and still have a lot to learn. I would like to download this show but am confused by what I am reading. Are the different recordings you are talking about posted on the SHN server? I thought the server was down? I am also confused by the references to newsgroups (what are they and do you use the antsdownloader to access them). I have tried to read all the FAQ'a but I am still confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

AntsDownloader will run for apx 3 1/2 hours and then I loose my connection (I have a dial up connection w/Juno.) I am not sure if Juno is ending my connection or if I have another problem. I have downloaded for several hours before withhout being booted by Juno, so I am not sure what to think. I guess AntsDownloader starts over with this file everytime I try to download it? It does not look like it picks up in the middle of the song. Is this correct? Does anyone have any thoughts?

with bit torrent you have to make sure the whole show is downloaded before you do any decoding.....bit torrent grabs bits and pieces of each file
