I may be a Brewers fan for life, but seeing as how I am financially invested in the Red Sox to win, I'll be in here cheering alongside y'all!
Who gets the nod on Thursday? I would feel more comfortable with Matsuzaka at home and Schilling on the road, but that is just me.

Tim Wakefield - BOS
The Red Sox announced that Tim Wakefield will not be included on the roster for the World Series.
It's probably because of continued problems with the back of his shoulder. Assuming that the Red Sox go with four starters -- and we can't imagine them using a three-man rotation -- it appears likely that Jon Lester will start Game 2 or Game 4. Julian Tavarez could be Wakefield's replacement on the roster. That would help Eric Gagne's chances of keeping his spot.

Alright, so when do the Beckett & steroids rumors start flyin? :rolleyes
Juuuuust kiddin :cool :D Goddamn this kid is phenomenal. He's the new Curt Schilling. As big game as it gets. I was thinking before this game started that whichever team won this first game, that's who'd take the series. I believe that epic layoff for Colorado was the absolute worst possible thing could've happened to them.

And don't even get me started on Beckett...I think I want a threesome with him and Ellsbury.

What do people think about games 3-5 in Colorado? Ortiz to play 1st or sit him down to rest his knee and only bring him in to hit if need be?
I think you play him at 1st....Youk and Lowell at 3rd....moving Youk over to 1st in the later innings.

It was close. It didnt hit him square on, if it did hit him, it BARELY grazed him, and if that's the case (Which it is) then there is no way to 100 percent sure like you are.
But whatever. I just posted my opinion on it, wasnt looking for your eye rolling or arguement starting, so I'll just leave it alone.
And the fact that you said MAYBE he leaned in proves you must not have clearly seen the replay as much as you claim, because if you are so sure that it hit him because you saw the replay, then you would know that he OBVIOUSLY moved in toward the pitch, not maybe.

Hm. They actually do "Go Sox" in buildings with lights huh? I always thought that was just a myth thing. Go figure....
I'm to bed all. Off-night tomorrow, which is good because I'm going to my high school's sectional football semi-final game. Have a good next couple days all....
Catch ya later Bob, it's nice having you around during the games. :thumbsup
