I went to my very first DAVE concert EVER!! last night...

every year i've liked him (which has been a LONG LONG LONGASS TIME) i've tried to convince someone to take me, and they'd never keep their promise. this has sucked ass for YEARS and i FINALLY had the money to buy the tickets and convinced someone to drive us.

as for the concert, dave live is the most exhilerating experience i've ever had. the DMB puts on the greatest show i've ever seen.

one thing i have to say is that he didn't perform quite how i ...expected. not less than perfect, just different. i really expected him to talk more. he was real shy, and just played his music. no real audience interaction. or not as much as i expected. but despite it all, dave matthews is my hero. *sigh*

congratulations on your first Dave experience! losing your dMb virginity is, indeed, quite a rush. as for Dave's quiet personality on stage, he's typically like that during full band concerts - he gets more personal with the audience when playing solo or with Tim Reynolds, as far as I can tell, anyway . . .
