hey, just wondering...when do you think the band will stop playing all of the 4 new songs? so far it's been every night, even 2 night stands. i never saw anything like this. back in 2000 there were like 8 or so and they showed up sporatically throughout. now each night gets all 4. i love the songs, don't get me wrong, just curious when this will all end. or if they'll introduce other new songs. i'm not counting "thing" since this started d&f and isn't played every night.

they'll probably play them at every show the whole tour. they're trying to develop the songs for an album, and they want to introduce the newer stuff to every crowd...not everyone goes to 5+ shows. we should count our blessings that we're getting everything we are. and why not count thing? dmb has played it more than once, generally at 2 night stands...

I guess I'll disagree with the previous posters. They are developing these songs, but at some point one or all of the songs may become "perfect" (to a point that the band thinks no more development is needed). When a song reaches this phase I'll bet it gets played a little less frequently.

IMO it could start to happen it about a month. C-E seems to be nearing that "perfect" state now. However, Sugar Will (my personal fave) sounds like it's months away from being finished.

probably over half of the people that attend dmb shows aren't familiar w/ the new songs. it's new for someone everytime they play them. don't count on the 4 songs to stop being played every show anytime soon.

I hope to hear all FIVE new songs at Va Beach, and then again at WPB. All FIVE new songs are awesome. Just because Thing was played during Bonnaroo doesn't mean it should be forgotten.

If I hear sugar will at one show let alone both Ill be pissed just because a song that is so much better could be put there

Chances are you will hear it at both, but its better than hearing IDI or WAYG...so just suck it up and go. I wanted the new songs before the tour, and ill be damned if I dont want them now too.

I'll just throw this out there and say if they do knock the new songs out of the set list my guess would be night three of gorge. Just my idea tho
