A certain town near Alpine...HELP me remember please

I remember driving last year while awaiting for the second night and finding a beautiful town located on a lake, where there were a lot of bars. It kind of resembled the Hamptons a bit.... Does anyone know or remember the name of this town so i can book a hotel there?
