I'm no longer collecting like I used to and I'm interested in getting rid of my collection. Over 500 shows, over 600 data CDs, over 400gb. All are in SHN format. Most people here will probably think I'm crazy, but I've already converted & burned everything I want to keep, and these backups are just taking up space.

Obviously, I do not want to sell for profit. However I have more CD blanks than I will every need, so I'm not interested in a traditional B+P offer. I am open to other offers, such as DVD blanks, the cost of CD blanks, etc. Please email me if interested. I can provide a list & details. Thanks!

I am open to other offers, such as DVD blanks, the cost of CD blanks, etc.

First off no money exchange for shows. What you can do is send a spindle of disks w/ a recept (kinda of a loophole but that way you aren't exchanging money). Otherwise the dvd blanks is fine.

what? i disagree. i think it is acceptable to trade already burned shows for the price of blank cd's. the whole spindle with reciept is clever, but you're wasting like 4 bucks on postage. and who's to say i can't find imation's on sale for 5 bucks after instant rebates for 50 bucks. that's not fair to the person who is sending the shows, because he spent WAY more money on the shows than 5 bucks (with postage, and supplies). the person trading the shows away is already losing tons of money. (not to mention time and effort)

i think this is a killer deal for newbies. kind of the "cheap" way out but it will get you a collection fast.

Yeah, as long as you are not profiting from the shows he can sell the discs for the price that he paid for the blanks. Look at the situation, he didnt come in here and say I'm making copies of my collection, who wants to buy them? I would be more than willing to give him money for the price of the CD's, it would be exactly the same as going out and buying the cd's.

it is still money exchanging hands for shows. As someone else posted on another forum, you would be profiting, even if you ask for less than the value for the CDs themselves. you've already obtained "value" from the CDs by having the shows in the first place. Thus, to sell them nets you a profit.

but if someone else went out, bought blanks, and burned shows it would cost them money AND time, why not save the time and send the money to this guy who will give you the time for free?
