My friends always did my math homework and I would write their english papers....

Interesting developments in my life over the last 72 hours......There was the violin player that I took to DMB with me...The day of the show was the last time that we spoke, I called her and left a message about going out to dinner two weeks later and still have heard nothing as of Friday....The friend that is doing the hooking up told me not to call because she WOULD call me.......So I gave up on that working out....I made plans with a girl from work Friday and after I did that I got a call from that friend about going out because she had called him and asked him about it, I didn't have the money so I stayed in and had a few drinks and watched movies with the girl from work....That was a good time and all but I think that she was way more into it than I was....She came back over Saturday night and we had another quiet night in......I get to work today and one of the few people that I work with that I consider a friend away from this place tells me that she got me a date.....That date would be with a girl that I have met who happens to be pretty cute, a bartender at a local bar, and wearing a DMB shirt today......I'm not sure what the hell is going on right now.....When it rains it pours.

So this was one of the more interesting weekends I have had in a long time.....Went to the Halloween party Friday night as John Holmes complete with real moustache, afro, purple polyester suit and the one thing that could make him stand out in a crowd. It got boring so I went to the bar and the slutty school gir bartender bought me drinks all night and then we went to her house and watched Back to the Future and passed out....
Saturday was a heartbreaker as KSU lost the game with 6 seconds left...Went out again, drank to much again and winded up at a party called Tits 'n' Techno out in the middle of nowhere. There was strippers, thus the tits, but other than that it was a very strange gothish type of party. One of the girls that is trying to date me was there and her actions that night added to her actions when we went to KC a few weeks ago sealed her fate as the one that is not getting chosen. I can tell you that atleast 10 guys that we work with got to see what she has to offer that night and two girls that I know got to know her fairly well.....She's not Girlfriend material....
Saturday night I also bumped into my last girlfriend at the bar with my replacement and then I found out that my ex-fiance, who I dated for 6 and 1/2 years had gotten married not to long ago.....So yeah that was my weekend, I have plans with the bartender tonight so that should be interesting

howday folks. i'm the coach. i've frequented this place for a few months now and i've noticed what others have stated on the board i was previously affiliated with: that antsmarching.org is a very friendly place with close bonds.

well, like i said, it's been a few months and i can definitely see what people were talking about, but that's the issue. i see it. i don't necessarily feel or sense it. i see the 'regulars' in the Random thread; i see funny, weird, and whoaness conversation in the opposite sex thead; party at the hancock always seems like a place to relax and chill; there's a thread about a young lady who has touched many and is in need of a good thought or two...

not taking anything away from those threads and others, i must say that it can be quite intimidating to enter a thread and try and join the group with no credibility. not to say that i or someone else wouldn't 'fit in', but like many things in life, it just takes time to get to know one another.

so, to shake things up somewhat, i thought about making a thread for newer Ants. i know that 'new' is a term that can be defined in a very broad manner, but to put some type of boundry on it, i'll define 'new' as being under 1000 posts. and i only make a boundry to catch those who want to post and interact, but don't feel like they'll be heard because of their lack of being established in the community. obviously, it is quite possible for a person to have 500 posts but registered in 2002. or on the other side of the spectrum, a person might have registered last month and already have 2000 posts. does that make sense? do people see my point? lemmie see, lemmie see.................but what happens when you pass 1000? good question. how 'bout after page.......oh i don't know 10 (if it ever reaches that point) we'll just open up the door to come one, come all...but hopefully, it'll still stay a 'newbie' thread.

obviously, i can't stop anyone from posting. and if you have 1000 + posts and really feel the need to comment, by all means. but hopefully, this will be a legitimate attempt to share ideas, thoughts, and overall grooviness to little ol wallflowers like myself.

Life update - Had a girlfriend, was getting along great then we had our first big fight. That continued for over a week, I got broken up with because I called her out for using colorful language at the bar, we were somewhat getting along again and then I belive the period monster struck and she has been nothing but up and down, and by down I mean hating me on principal because I refuse to give into her crying to get her way.

One phone call is nothing but anger and ends with me being hung up on. She calls back minutes later and she is in tears regretting the bad things that she had said in the previous call.

I tried to wash my hands of it yesterday but she called me today to get it all worked back up again. So tonight after work is going to the war that ends it all and I can't wait for it to finally be over

well today has proved to be just another horrible day, they sure are ading up fast....My mom called me and let me know that my dog was hit by a car this morning, she escaped as my mom was warming up her car and headed straight for the highway....Over the weekend I had some what patched things up with the girl, only to have that blow up in my face again.


but I think that I have figured out my problem with relationships, it came to me in a herbal haze last night, check it.

No one really wants to be alone, so when someone comes into their lives and things look grand they get a picture in their head as to that is the way that things should go. So then things go wrong, you feel hurt and then I try to fool myself that things can be as they once were so I don't have to feel the hurt at the moment. Instead it swells until my breaking point, thus this week.
