On a different note, THANK GOD this week's over! I can't wait till tonight and tomorrow night! Tomorrow night is my friend's 21st birthday. He's pretty loaded, so he went ahead and got us VIP at a brand new club in San Diego and a party bus stocked with all kinds of booze. I went out last night and bought a power shirt and pants. I'm very powerful in them. At least, I feel powerful in them. It should be a good night.

So vacation was great, something that I will never forget.

We went up to KC on Saturday and went to Westport, their HUGE bar district. Times were ok and we got tanked and we home.

Sunday night was another night out. There was a Birthday to celebrate, things were great till the night was over and as we were leaving the bar a riot broke out. Chairs being broken over peoples heads along with bottles, fists flying everywhere without a specific target. There was a guy that got stabbed in the face and I'm pretty sure was close to death when we got in the car and booked it.

Tuesday was the DMB show in STL and it is the best time that I have ever had at a show that wasn't my first. I spent way to much money and don't remember as much as I wish I did. I lost it all about the time that they played Pig.

Wednesday was KC and I was REALLY hungover and the set was almost the same as it was the night before....Bummer

SO I got word yesterday that I am heading for South Dakota next week. My company is moving me there to take on a higher position...I haven't been around recently because there hasn't been anyone here and there also has been little time to spend.

So I'm not sure exactly what this move is going to mean to me. I maybe back here in Kansas within a month or two, but then again I might spend the rest of my time in a place that DMB never chooses to tour....Ok, so that part is going to have alot to do with it. Can't go through my year without my shows.

I was asleep and when the news first broke my work was mass calling the late shift to come in to cover the morning shift. I was woken up and got to the tv just as the second plane hit. It was horrible. I worked for discover card and the parent comapny, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter (now just morgan stanley) was the largest occupant of the towers and surrounding buildings. All the discover card locations were shut down except for Phoenix location and we were manning an emergency line for families and workers of the towers. All but like 9 got out safe and we had the smallest amount of casulities. Good odds right?

I was sick the day before and had an orthodontist appointment that morning. So I got to sleep in. My mom calls me and wakes me up (goody...my hear was all stuffed up and I'm waking up an hour earlier than I had to). She tells me the first plane hit, and I turned on the news because I didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. And so I stayed up and watch for about an hour and a half till I had to leave for my appointment. Saw the rest of the whole goddamn mess. Shit.

I was a freshman in highschool at the time and I was in my health class. My principal called my teacher out in the hallway to talk to him and then he came back in the room and told us that a plane had flown into one of the buildings. We thought it was some kind of a joke, but we were taken into another classroom that had a TV in it and we watched the news for the rest of the day.
