I know I'm kind of late on Alpine related reviews, but I'm sick and have been sitting on the computer bored and groggy all day. So yeah, last weekend was unreal the only downside was that my jeep broke down like 2 days before so we were stuck taking a friends car. We couldn't fit our guitars with all the other tailgating items that were a must, so they were left behind at the hotel. We stayed in a suite all weekend in Waukesha and it was one good time. We saw a bunch of other Davehead's there too. Anyway, instead of playing "our" set's as planned at Alpine we had to settle for our balcony. It was great, everyone outside was paying attention to us in the parking lot. I felt like I was in Dave's shoes for a short time... :).

Here's the sets we played both days, now tell me these aren't sick:

How did u go Warehouse-->DIKG-->SUAD?

Album Intro
E:-----------------------------------------------
B:-x--x--x--x-x-x--x-x-x----x--x--x--x-x-x--x-x--
G:-x--x--x--7-x-x--x-x-x----x--x--x--7-x-x--x-x--
D:-x--x--11---9-x--x-x-x----x--x--11---9-x--x-x--
A:-x--9---------10-x-x-x----x--9---------10-9-7
E:-7---------------x-x-x----7--------------------

I just went back to the intro at the end, and then went right into the DIKG intro strum (7). It sounds bad asss.

I just played SUAD directly after DIKG.....not really a segue.

apparently he plays Crush in standard, so we must assume he also plays SUAD that way.

Drop D = 6th string (low E) tuned down a whole step to D. Use the 7th fret (A) on the low D to match it up to the 5th string.

Double drop-D is both the high and the low Es down to D. Then, you're only a few twists away from open-D tuning... whip out the slide! :)
