ok, my alvarez acoustic guitar only came w/ one guitar strap peg, so i have to tie my other end of the strap to the end of my guitar neck, which im not really a fan of. i've had this guitar for a little over a year, and have debated about seeing if there is a way to actually put in another peg. is this possible? im just checking before i go out and buy another guitar strap, nice one, since the one i have now is a piece of shit. anybody done it before?

If you call Alvarez's helpline, they will be able to tell you where on the guitar is the best place for the strap.
Just drill a small hole where they say, like a guide hole, then screw in the peg.
You can buy pegs at any guitar store, they're like $5 for a set.
It's really easy to do!

I was also wondering why my guitar has only one peg. I suppose I'll take mine to the shop as well. :)

take it to your local guitar shop. they drill a hole and insert the second peg. can be done in an afternoon and only costs ~$10

I really recommend against doing it yourself. Take it to somebody that knows what they're doing. It'll take 5-10 minutes and cost less thant $10.
