I was at the game on Sat. It was definitely pass interference on VT. The receiver quickly grabbed the DB in order to allow himself to jump back for the ball. Even the VT fans near me said it was a legit call after booing like crazy! :lol That certainly did turn the tide in the game though. That and Randall couldn't hit the broad side of a barn towards the end of the game.

I didn't see any of the TV replays. If I were the ref, I would've made the call as well, and I wasn't routing for either team. The thing that does suck, is that the ref who threw the flag was 20 yards up the field and threw it late. The ref right on the play didn't throw one. Sucks that a call ended up swinging the momentum in the game though.

I can see Bush and Leinart both as finalists for the Heisman this year.

Any Hawkeye fans here? ASU just completely kicked #12 Iowa's ass tonight. Holy crap, it was beautiful. ASU-44 #12 Iowa-7. Iowa only scored with 18 seconds left in the game and it was on special teams (not to mention that touch down should have been called back due to the block in the back). Iowa had a total of 38 yards up till their last drive in the fourth with about 2 mins left. Iowa didn't even pass their own thirty untill the last drive either. Iowa ended up with 100 yards total and only six first downs in the entire game. Andrew Walter for ASU threw for 428 yards and 5 touchdowns. Oh my god it was beautiful. GO DEVILS!!!

If anyone is reading and they are here in the land of the SEC, I wonder how Texas/Oklahoma compares to Auburn/Alabama. People end relationships because one person roots for another school. Families refuse to accept daughters-and-sons-in-law. People have probably missed out on promotions due to their affiliation with one team or another. It's INSANE. People drive around with those license plates with one logo on one half, one on the other with a line below that says "A House Divided".

I've been to both the Iron Bowl and the Red River Shoot Out. There is more intensity for the week leading up to the Res River Shootout. However, the hatred felt YEAR ROUND for the Auburn Bama game is ten times greater.

Yes, that speech on Friday was pretty cool, but the gift of gab can only get you so far. Yeah, the team may have made mistakes during the game Saturday, but the system isn't doing them any better during other games...and the system is due to the coaching staff. PSU is a traditional power and being at the bottom of the Big 10 isn't where they're supposed to be. It's time for a change and time for new life.

i see where youre coming from, but theres a problem. penn state likes to hire from within the "penn state family." they would much rather hire from within the coaching ranks, however the offensive coordinator is already over 60 and the defensive coordinator, tom bradley, is probably not the best choice. we'll see what happens when joe finally steps down, but i hope he sticks around until i get there, so at least next year
