well the temp went from 70s last weekend to 40s this weekend. I think that has something to do with it. Oh and the fact that I worked probably 100+ hours in the last 7 days doesn't help.

I've been fighting it like crazy, OJ every morning, decongestant before bed and when I wake up. If my nose gets clogged enough my ears get stuffy and then I get strep. So I gotta keep my head clear.

yep i did those :) the cardinals ones are actually the same pumpkin- on design on eitherside. it still lights up - you just have to make sure you go almost all the was through...they last longer too- dont get all caved in as fast.

thanks for all the love guys, i feel like someone punched me in the neck.

my muscles dont really hurt at all just a little in my shoulders. I pulled the two tendons or ligaments (heather would know) that go from the middle of my collar bone on both sides, up to behind my ears. I can't turn my head. and it hurts to try to raise my head when i'm laying down. i have to sleep on my stomach so that when i get up i'm using my back muscles not the muscles in the front of my neck.

Very often after using eye drops, one feels an unpleasant taste. This is because the tear ducts carry the eye drops into the nose and further on it passes into the throat and gets swallowed. Through this, the medication gets into the bloodstream, producing effects on the whole body. Keep the eyes closed for a minute after the drop has been instilled to lessen this bitter sensation.

I know...I haven't been here in ages...

Things with me have been pretty insane lately for various reasons...but my job has been keeping me very very busy (I'm writing a student's IEP right now, ugh), but it's been pretty good so far. I love the teaching part of it, my colleagues have been so helpful and my students are great, but I've already learned not to like the administration, parents who have too much time on their hands, and all the paperwork I have to do. These past 2 months have been quite a learning experience for me...I can't imagine the kinds of stories I'd have to tell in June! :lol

My job has been pretty good. I work in a pretty underprivilated area and it has taken me awhile to get used to these kids. they are different. one of the little bastards stole my cell phone, but i guess i'm over that now. Other then that, sin city has been pretty sinful, fun stuff :lol

Well, I have more paperwork because I'm in Special Ed...and I have 6 students on my caseload while the other Itinerants only have 1.

It's really hard to make the adjustment to "click" with the demographic group you're working with. I'm really fortunate that I spend most of my time in a school in my hometown, so it's easy to relate to how they're growing up...when I travel to other schools, sometimes it's not so easy. I have a friend who teaches in North Philly and she had her car broken into the other day. The student knew it was her car and everything...smashed her window and took the faceplate from her stereo. Thank goodness it wasn't more serious, but it definitely startled her. I really admire you guys for working with your population...I did some fieldwork in underpriveliged areas when I was in college, but I'm just not cut out for that on a daily basis.
