And to follow up on my genius brother's actions from last night. He's still fighting with my mom. She had enough and took away the car keys. He flipped out, broke a door and some tiles in the kitchen.

And he wants to go to Brown? He needs to be locked away. :ugh:

:hug Tom - many positive vibes are being sent to you and your Mother.

I would say smack your brother around, you might feel better, but I doubt it would help.

He needs something terrible to happen to him to bring him back to earth, maybe getting dumped by his girlfriend.

Then screw with him - tell him you found her positive pregnancy test and overheard her telling your parents that it was his. Make sure every one knows, except him.

But you did mention that he lost a friend to a car accident and May, and it apparently didn't faze him, so I don't know what really would.

Hi everyone :) I am home today. Joey seems to have tummy issues, and well, I could use a day off to be perfectly honest. Yesterday I had to write a detention, take 5 minutes of recess away from 3 and 4th grade, pick up half a dead mouse and grade 120 math tests. Today I plan to clean the laundry room and dust the shelves in the kitchen. I was looking at my wallpaper in my bathroom (i hate it) and kenny comes in and goes, " Don't get all psycho on me!! We have enough to do before company arrives"

Who? Me? Psycho??? :lol

FPrefect61

Well, the shit certainly hit the fan last night. My mom flipped out on my brother and stepdad. My brother for all the stupid shit he's pulled the last couple of days. Turns out the door he broke was the door to my room. Figures he doesn't do anything to damage his own shit. She also ripped into my stepdad for not even coming to see her after she got hit. He was "too busy with work and his daughter". That didn't go over very well. The only person who didn't get any grief was me, and all I did was do the right thing, ask her how she was, offer to help, no ask what was for dinner or say I was too busy to help. :lol

I can't wait to get the fuck out of this house. :BANG

Stace, I would agree that he doesn't know how to handle this, but he's been getting bitchier and bitchier each day, more demanding and pissed if you don't do what he wants when he wants it. Honestly, I'm glad he's getting shit on now, I hope it doesn't stop.

As for my stepdad, with each passing day I realize more and more he's a nice guy, but a terrible father and a worse husband. The only person who loves him for who he is and not for his money is my mom. His own mother treats him like shit, his kids don't talk to him unless they need money. His brother is a dick and his sister's not around. He treats the only person that does love him completely like dirt and it's really starting to piss me off. Unfortunately, I'm not in any position to criticize because I need both his help and my mom's help financially for the moment.

Like I said before, I need to get the fuck out of here.

Joey has watched "The Concert for George" and is currently outside swinging. I think he faked me out. As for me, so much for the day off...I satisfied my OCDness by removing all things from the top of the kitchen cabinets and dusting them. I then scoured the stove, oven and outside of the cabinets. Off to my bedroom and bathroom now :lol

Just got back from the gym, best workout I've had yet. This iPod is going to change the way I spend my time at the gym. I put together a little workout mix and I found the two perfect songs to play over and over again on the treadmill are the theme to Rock and The Who's Baba O'Reily. :lol

Oh funny thing too... I had to pick my mom up at Bradley Airport (here in CT) earlier in '04. The academy is right behind the airport and we were running early so we drove to the academy and checked out the memorial they have here. NEVER thought I'd live here when I drove by it that day.... :ugh:

morning gorgers! i can't wait till tomorrow so i can sleep in. woo! :)

angelces
12-09-2004, 09:42 AM
I can't sleep in until after I move.

I have to break my house up into digestible packing sized sections and do one a day until move day.

this sucks.

My parents are buying a car trailer and parking it in my driveway. I'm going to fill it up with stuff overthe course of the next week and then we are going ot take it to my parents house, take out the parts I need for there and then leave the rest of my stuff locked up in the trailer until it's time to move again.

We figure it's cheaper than the amount of storage I'm going to need for a year and I won't have to move everything twice.

Also my brother is getting to the age where he's going to need to be moved soon too.

We figure we'll just sell it when we're done.

Trainer2375
12-09-2004, 09:47 AM
where are you moving to?

dancergirl40ky
12-09-2004, 09:51 AM
Ug, not too long ago, Rich and I were sort of looking for a new house and then we changed our minds and decided to stay where we are. Money of course was part of it, but I have to say I was not looking forward to moving. When we moved into this house we did it ourselves, all the others had been military moves where you pretty much sit back and watch the company pack and move all your shit, and just tell them where you want it. Biggest worry being the inventory.

angelces
12-09-2004, 09:54 AM
where are you moving to?
back home. I'm getting the last word in the whole landlord taking advantage of me and trying to rip me off.

I'm saving 1000 bucks a month by doing that. Time to pay everything off and save my pennies. :)

Trainer2375
12-09-2004, 09:56 AM
yeah, your landlord sounded pretty shitty, that's cool that you can move back and save some money. :)

i don't think i could ever live with my parents again, love them, but no thanks.

angelces

I feel the same way. but frankly my back is kinda against the wall right now.

between my loan, my car payments and rent I can't afford to move anywhere closer to work right now.

Mom and I are both going to save and she is going to help me put a down payment on a condo. This way I won't be throwing away my housing money from month to month. I will be building equity and I have to pay her back when I sell the condo.

Not a bad deal.

Besides I am only really home to sleep so I'm not that worried.

Most economic way to go... Fat Tire pony keg is 7.75 gals for $60. That's $7.75 per gallon. A 12-pack of Fat Tire is $13 (12-pack is slightly more than a gallon - 144 oz. vs 128 oz) or $11.55 per gallon.

We really need to find a way to get more of you out here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow... some guy just BEGGED me for MY PARDON.
He called my cell number by mistake... And when I told him it was a wrong number he actually said, "I beg your pardon."

So, do I give it to him? I'm not used to this... I mean, if I start just giving out pardons to strangers, and people get wind of it, they'll start walking all over me and asking for one of those free pardons... And when I get sick of giving them out, then *I'M* going to look like the jerk when I say no... "I'm running low on pardons! No more pardons! I don't care if you ARE begging." Although, it wasn't a very good beg, either...

I wish he would have just said "Sorry."

What's really funny in all this beer debate is that if you take New Belgium's top two beers, Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat, and combined them, you would have Yuengling.

Yuengling tastes like Fat Tire, only a little weaker... I think of it as Fat Tire LIGHT. Again, no offense. I love Yuengling too. I have lots of love in my heart for lots of good beers... Just not Sam "Crap" Adams.

I find it odd that you would like one (Yueng.) and not the other (FT). They are almost identical.

Hey Rob...
Guess what I just bought.

Six 22.5 ounce Pilsner glasses.
They are in the freezer... They can't wait to meet you.

And I can't wait to meet them! I'll put each and every one of them up to my mouth and drink from their goodness. Maybe all at once.

Oh, naturally they'll be filled with beer.

All 6? Thanks for sharing.

Actually, the way I figure it... being the kind of geek who calculated the cost per gallon of the beer and all... is that with 3 glasses each everytime we go to get more beer, you can quickly do a wash of the currently-empty-and warm glass, put it back in the freezer and take the next nice-and-frosty glass for your refill... We keep cycling them through like that and we'll always have a perfect glass of beer.

You can call me a geek for thinking about that... I DON'T CARE... I take my beer drinking VERY SERIOUSLY.

(I also have 2 25 oz.MONSTER mugs from Old Chicago but they aren't new.)

here's the actual setlist, based on me finally identifying the songs:

sorry so sorry
perfect time of day
ghost > beams of light
brace yourself
after you
bunnies
she says > one love
collide
-------------
sunday morning
madrigals

sorry, i know this is a long shot, but did any of you guys who saw this show know anyone who taped it?

Good Morning Gorgeous friends, how are the pretty people of the world. I had a pretty good weekend. Saw Oceans 12, Eh, it was OK. Just looking at those men for two hours is worth the price of admission.
