Honestly. Is there anyone by now that is undecided? If so, I find it very hard to believe. If people have not decied on Bush or Kerry, then they have decided to not vote, or vote for someone else.

I don't know. It's very hard to want to vote for either of them.

i'm undecided, bush will never get my vote...kerry has a lot to prove to me, but i'll probably end up voting third party like last time

lots of people are undecided.
neither candidate is that special.

i think there are less than in most elections. generally speaking its about 40% of the voters for each side the rest undecided but with how polar our nation is i would suspect that 40% is closer to 45% or even higher.

I don't want to vote for either of them. I want to vote, but I am not sure if I am going to this time.

Definitely vote. If you don't like a certain election... then vote for the others. But don't just not vote.

I don't know Ken - I have quite a few traditionally Republican friends who hate Bush with a passion, but sure as hell don't want Kerry in office. They are all voting 3rd party, effectively taking votes away from Bush - maybe that's not as good as voting for Kerry outright, but it will help Kerry in the long run.

This is not true at all. I am voting Libertarian, but of the two candidates prefer Bush.
Voting 3rd party only "takes away" votes for one of the two big candidates if you are in a close state. I live in Texas where Bush will dominate. Also, voting 3rd party helps get the issues I care about some attention. Finally, it can help get these parties on future ballots with less spending and help some candidates win the smaller elections.

Correct. Any argument made to say that voting for 3rd parties takes away votes for Kerry/any underdog is based on assumptions that might or might not be true. By saying a 3rd party vote is a vote for Bush, you're effectively stating that had that person not voted 3rd party, then they absolutely would have voted Kerry. That's nothing more than conjecture, and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Also, since the only thing that truly helps the Bush column in a vote count is an actual vote for Bush, voting a third party is actually closer to an abstension.
Still, that ignores a number of other reasons to vote third party.

It's pretty bad when two main canidates are this disputable.
Do you guys think there's any chance that so many people don't know who to vote for that Nader will win??? :lol I'd laugh my ass off if that happens.
I can't wait to see the debates.
