just kidding, don't mean to really rag on ya, but yea that detail was one of the many covered pretty extensively within hours of the s2 premiere airing (when 108 was seen in the middle of the mural down on the shaft wall)

And I personally don't think those 2 guys look anything even remotely alike.

But I'm sure they got somethin up their sleeve for us! :D While true, MC Gainey is no leading man, he's a real journeyman-type of character actor and they wouldn't have gotten someone of his stature to play the dude unless it was quite important (well, obviously he's important anyway since he took Walk without warning and hasn't been seen since, that's a major plot thread, but.... )

Well yea but like I said if you've got the time (realizing that's a big IF :D ) than I think you could really get something out of going back a good ways further than that, back even towards around when eps 1 & 2 aired. Lots of good stuff sprinkled throughout.

Trust me, I never even had a glimmer of a hope of seeing that logo on the shark without getting the heads up here :lol In fact I forget exactly who it was that night that first mentioned it, claiming to see it in real time actually, which I still can't fathom how such a thing was possible :p Because even with the screen cap that was posted, it still took me at least a good 5-10 seconds to make out the logo from it being so dark (gee, it was at night and under water, after all). Even when I severly brightened the thing up in Photoshop you still couldn't make the logo out all that great.

It's weird, because you'd certainly think this based on last week's preview, but Aint-It-Cool-News is reporting that in fact tonight's episode "slows things down", as in not a lot of mythology/plot advancement, more substantive of character development. I know it's a Hurley-centric show.

And that ITunes thing sounds very shady. I wonder if it's completely legal. Would have to be endorsed/done by way of Disney, certainly. Just seems like an odd way to distribute the material (even though the technology is becoming more and more popular, yes).

Yea Bob Iger (President of Disney) was up on stage during the presentation and gave the whole ABC portion of the thing. He and Steve shook hands and were very happy to be in this partnership. It's not shady at all, it has copyprotected files when you download them so you can't swap them with anyone and so forth. It's a good deal for both companies and I hope this new partnership means that a new Pixar deal is not too far behind... :multi

Not that I'm worried, they'll find another studio, in fact word that I've heard is that Warner Bros is the frontrunner. Mostly just a matter of whose logo will be on the front of the film print when you see it in the theatre; John Lassiter has grown into a pretty powerful player in his own right.

Great episode, even though they are slowing things down again there is still a lot of great storytelling going on here. LOVED the peanut butter scene and the Rose/Bernard stuff, the mysteries keep us guessing, but it's the scenes like this that just make this show.

Ok I fell asleep after the show. I thought it was a good show and I really enjoyed getting a little more of Hurley's backstory. I am thinking that the tailsection people are dwindling off by the sickness and/or getting picked off by the "others." Don't know yet but I am leaning towards the "others" theory. I didn't pick up on the milk carton photo and I was trying so hard to detect things but I missed it! Damnit!

But hey, if it IS the same guy, c'mon -- you REALLY think they were just economizing with their cast?? On this show?? :p No way, if it's true it's VERY intentional.

If Hurley's boss is the same guy as Lock's boss that could make sense. In Hurley's episode last season his accountant mentions that he owns a box company, maybe his old boss got hired there or maybe he gave his old boss a job there. It'd be ironic that he'd be working for Hurley and it would connect everything more.

Also it was interesting how someone mentioned that there were originally 42 survivors by one station and we just found out that there were 23 at the other station. If the other 4 stations are on the island maybe the next one has 16 survivors, then 15, then 8, then 4... who knows. Can't wait til next week.

Yea, I kinda was thinking that too. Or at least even from the point of view of Sawyer, frankly I was surprised he obliged her as much as he did. Especially a moment like they come up to the door and he says something and she's like "What did I tell you?!" (as in to not speak unless spoken to) I woulda been like "blah blah blah, fuck you beeyotch" :p What's she gonna do, actually shoot him? I doubt it.

Plus I just don't like Michelle Rodriguez as it is. I don't find her the least bit attractive, her acting's atrocious and like someone else said earlier, it's like the writers are trying way too hard with her charcter too quickly.
