Don't know if this has been discussed, but has anyone been to the www.dharmaindustries.com site lately? I just went and it looks like they changed it up a bit. Something to do I guess.

When I went, it said Access Granted and took me to a little prompt screen where the ole' >: popped up. Some things came up, and then it allowed me to type. So naturally, I typed in our favorite numbers and it said system initialized. And then it asked for a login ID and that's where I got stuck.
Edit: Weird. I just went back and got denied. Hmmm...

just wanted to check to see if people realized that it was Jack's wife to be that killed Shannons father in the car accident
The was figured out the first episode of the season when his wife was brought into the ER and Jack made a choice to save her and not the other guy on the table. They referred to him as "Rutherford" and of course it was deduced that that was how Shannon's dad died.

Ya know all this talk keeps going on about how "Jack chose to save the girl over Shannon's father" and everything - I thought I remembered it that didn't doctors/nurses say pretty much when Jack arrived that that guy pretty much had no chance to live as soon as he was wheeled in? So I never looked at it as being a questionable move by Jack at all, you go with the patient that's got the best odds on to survive.

Seriously? Just because her step mom is a bigger bitch than she is doesn't negate the fact that she's still a bitch. ;)
i dont agree with that at all, i think learning her backstory helped me understand why shannon is such a bitch, b4 her dad died, and her step mom screwed her out of what was rightfuly hers, she seemed like a pretty nice kid to me....

They said that in this episode to Shannon and her mother, but in the first episode, Jack did have time. They only said it in this one to comfort his family and not say, "hey, uh, the doctor could've have saved your father, but he kinda thought somebody else was more important"

"Pretty soon Ana Lucia will learn the reason why you do not under any circumstances piss of the Iraqi torture expert. " I love it

"In the woods Libby steps on a branch and everyone stops terrified. When Sawyer falls down again, Ana Lucia tells everyone to shut up. Michael then finally decides to ask the question I have been asking for a month now. “What happened to you people?” He also demands to know why they have to keep quiet. Nice to know that he waits a few days to come around to this question. Ana Lucia finally stops, and through gritted teeth (this chick needs to seriously relax) simply says that they took 3 of us the first time we got here. Then 3 weeks alter took 9 more. They are smart and they are animals. And that’s it. That’s the extent of her “explanation”. Now if it was me I’d follow that up with “So what are they? People? Why do they have children? Are they other survivors? How did they get here? What kind of clothes are they wearing? Do they speak?” But no. Of course not. This show doesn’t give you easy answers. And since she is talking to Michael he simply falls back on the only subject he knows anything about. His awful parenting skills. “They took my son.” Is his only reaction. Yeah yeah, we know. First clue was the 3 thousand times you screamed Walt into our ears"

OK - I just watched last weeks episode again after checking out some other boards. Did anyone notice the guy standing in the background during Shannon's flashback where she's talking to her friend after the dance class (she says, "Au pair, my ass"). If you have it tivo'ed, take a look at it. I swear to god the guy in the background is ethan. The way the scene is shot seems very deliberate, he is very obvious but blurry and leaning over the ledge so you can't really make out his face. Anyone notice this?? Thoughts??

Listening to the new episode that was just official podcast from the producers of the show and Damon and Carlton both confirm that Ana Lucia was the one and only shooter that killed Shannon and no one else...so I guess we can put that theory to rest.

How about this theory. Did anyone else notice how Walt is always wet? This could have something to do with the the rope Sayid found that leads to the ocean which I am assuming leads to an underwater station. The underwater station is where The Others live and is why it was so easy for them to steal the 'Talies' from the beach location. Also remember the Shark with the Dharma symbol on it? Clearly the the institution is in control of the ocean. Therefore the possibility of an underwater station is likely.

Or just to show that the raft is no more and everyone got wet.

This has bothered me since the very first day the cables were found. And if it isn't investigated, then its one of the biggest flaws in the entire show. It clearly led into the water, yet not one mention has been made on where and what it leads to.

Jin & Eko saw Goodwin's body in the jungle earlier in the season and Jin asked, "other"? and Eko nodded.
Well when that scene originally played out, I thought Jin as said "Others?", as in plural, and when Eko nodded, I took that to imply that Jin was asking if the Others had killed this person they're passing (Goodwin), and Eko answered yes by nodding.
But that's just me. :cool

I agree :thumbsup That's been kinda on my nerves even well before the 1st season ended.
Well, though if I'm gonna talk about something that's always been on my nerves with this show, I forget if I've talked about it before or not..... but it's the very basic and simple concept that nobody during the first few weeks on the island took it upon themselves to just walk as far and as much of the outling border of the whole thing is possible!!! :BANG That's one thing that always bugged me about the "revelation of finding other survivors on the other side of the island." Now granted, I've never been a plane crash survivor and stranded on a strange island so I can't predict my behavior in such a case to total certainty, BUT, if I was there, once everything started to calm down over just the first couple days after the crash, I would've really started to wonder what the hell else was there! And ok, so there's a strange noise coming from within the jungle, like some giant monster that could kill me? Fine! So like I said, stay as far out onto the beach border as possible, and just walk that path as far as it can possibly take you! Just for discovery's sake. Nobody ever did that! Sure, I suppose that was Sayid's kind of intent when he retreated after the Sawyer torture incident, that had he not found that line incoming from the ocean that he might've just intended to keep walking the outline of the island, but..... still doesn't satisfy me.

I've been guessing for awhile now that perhaps it's got a radius of at least a good 10 miles, and now tonight we got more info on that, since where they were when the prisoner ditch was, that was pretty far inland inside the jungle (I'm assuming) and Eko said the beach was about 5 miles away from there.
I'd say at the very VERY least it's 7 miles across, but even more likely over 10.

something ive thought of recently... you think its possible that sayid actually did go look at where the cable was, but we just havent seen that yet... i seriously doubt it, but these people do have a habit of keeping things they find to themselves... possibly sayid found something there and just doesnt want to tell anyone... again, i dont really think that this is the case, just something to came to mind recently...

Random responses to posts in the last 2 pages:
-Sayid followed the rope on the beach INLAND and found crazy french bitch.
-The radius of a circle is 1/2 of the width across...diameter is the whole thing. ;)
-I think the others have some sort of kid fetish, hence the taking of the kids, and someone is telling them (a cultish type leader) which adults to take.
-Someone said the others live in the water and that's why it was easy to kidnapp people from the beach. I believe they live in the jungle, and i thought it was pretty obvious that when they took the 9 people they carried them towards the jungle, not the water. Also they always hear the "voices" out in the jungle.
Overall i thought this episode was sub-par. Next week will be giggity giggity though.

A few things...
Goddamnit! I know that diameter is the full length between the two sides of a circle, I don't know why I had that temporary brainfart and said radius. Nevertheless, thanks to UAY DMB - or however the hell you say that screen name of yours :p
Listening -- as always -- to Preston & Steve's morning roundtable discussion on the ep (WMMR's morning radio show in Philadelpia, & available by podcast at their website), just a joking comment that was IM'd into them that I thought was funny, referencing the kidnapping of the kids: that a 3rd bunker/hatch will be found, and it will contain a passageway to Neverland Ranch :lol :lol
And finally, here's the biggie. I'm a little surprised that nobody's referenced this here yet, but oh well. Someone emailed this info into AintItCoolNews.com yesterday apparently, he visited the site "dharmainitiative.com (http://www.dharmainitiative.com/)", their interface had completely changed, and so he "checked the source of the webpage", as he put it. Now, the important thing is DO NOT ACTUALLY GO TO THIS WEBSITE. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED THAT DOING SO LOADS AT LEAST 1 TROJAN HORSE ONTO YOUR COMPUTER, APPARENTLY EVEN IF YOU HAVE ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE (though it can be successfully removed, just after a lot of annoying work). THEY COULD BE BS'ING, BUT IT'S BEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE SO FAR, AND FRANKLY WITH THE TROUBLE I'VE HAD WITH COMPUTER PROBLEMS OVER THE LAST YEAR, I'M NOT WILLING TO TEST IT TO FIND OUT. Plus, another possible incentive for you to not actually go there is that I'm going to simply paste the text of what is there to read here in this post, just as they did in the AICN article. So, like I said, the reader said he "checked the source for the webpage and the following is what he saw". Mind you, I'm sure this has no real basis in fact in terms of the show's truthful mythology, but I'm still posting it because I think it's a very interesting read (if not written too professionally at all). Anyway here's what's there:
Phase 3 Disclosure: The Dharma Initiative is not a secret international research project. You see, the island is part of another "dimension", I guess you'd call it, and is sort of "in between" the universes that are made of light matter and dark matter. We call it "Dharma". It's part of a whole planet that is pretty much available for colonization. It could also be used as a future conduit for inter-dimensional/intergalactic travel. The only problem is that we can't exist there naturally. The island only materializes when there's a solar eclipse. During that time the unique electromagnetic frequency added to the gravitational distortion allows both it and us to exist within the same space. But that "effect only lasts for 108 minutes, and then the island disappears from our world, taking any inanimate matter with it that's left behind.
If you were standing on the island after the primary eclipse period ended and the 108 minutes were up, you'd feel a great big suck of air and then "PLOP!" you'd fall right back into the ocean. Naked.
We are trying to change that. Actually, Majestic 13 developed a machine years ago that allows us to exist there. It's weird, but once us and the island "disappear" into the Dharma dimension, we have days and nights just like the earth one. But we can't travel more than 42 kilometers outside the machine's effective range.
The plan is to develop a way to genetically engineer animals with the right quantum frequency so they can exist in Dharma on their own. That's what the project is all about, and until now it's been classified. The fictional tv series "Lost" is part of the worldwide disclosure plan.
Now I'd say that I'd still be kinda dissapointed if the grand answer behind this mentions anything to do with an alternate dimension, that and/or "some secret governemt/military project". But again, I think that's a quite interesting theory on its own, I just don't believe it has anything ultimately to do with the show.
Oh and also on a sidenot, having to do partly with that USA Today article that was posted regarind the interview with Michelle Rodriguez -- I'm reading (not necessarily here) where a lot of people are saying about Ana Lucia being a cop or some variation in her past, and that will be revealed in her flashback (maybe even having crossed paths with our favorite hot fugitive, Kate), and my biggest problem with that is, it was in that article where it said that AL's past vocation will be one that will surprise everyone, that it's not what you'd expect it to be. So that tells me it's nothing to do with law enforcement. Just thought I'd mention...

That sounds vaguely familiar, I think you may be right. But I only really posted that segment because I thought it was a curiously fun little story (though, as I sorta briefly pointed out, the guy might've had a better chance at maybe making it a bit more believable if he didn't write it in an almost short story-like style, but rather a more straightforward, sort of press release-like one).

I’m guess I’m guilty of thinking that the writers would bump off a major character with a little more of a twist than something you could see coming a mile away. And if your keeping score, I also thought that Mr Eko was from the drug plane which seems to be wrong also
I’ll try to do better in the future :)
It may be nothing, but when Bernard asked Mr Eko if he had seen any African American women in the water he replied “no”, which seems odd because the first body he took out was a black woman

There may have been a mention of Hurley's father in his flashback ep last year, I can't recall, but his dad's got nothing to do with the numbers. When Hurley spent some time in a mental hospital in the past (we still don't know for what) he met a fellow patient (Howard, was it?) that was always repeating the #'s incessantly. After Hurley was out, when he decided 'as a lark' to play the lottery one day, those #'s just popped into his head and he used them (no wonder, after hearing them no doubt thousands of times), and that's what won him the lottery. Hurley later went back to Howard as a hospital visitor during his string of bad luck to ask where Howard originally got the #s from himself. Howard revealed he used to work in Australia (I think for the Army, but not sure 100%) and his task was with a guy named Sam Toomey, they monitored radio transmissions from the South Pacific, and it was during those sessions that they heard a voice repeating the #'s over and over again.
And sidenote - as we also learned in Hurley's flashback last year, Sam Toomey also used those #'s for a contest, won, and his "luck" started turning bad, too. He eventually killed himself.

Going with the idea of their being an alternate dimension/time rift/etc (which again, I dont' think is the case) I heard this little side theory that I'll mention purely for the reason that I think it's kind of a cool idea:
The kids we see with the Tailies? That's Boone & Shannon (remember, those two were joined as kids when their respective parents married - Boone at 10; Shannon at 8), and the irony being that AL ends up killing Shannon, the very girl to whom she swore she'd get back to her mother, as she tried to comfort her right after the plane crash.

Well, based on what's implied by the preview, I'd say it's more about the irony of Sayid now being tortured tied to a tree, since he did the same thing to Sawyer (at least, that's how I took it - it looked like AL had him tied up and was questioning him maybe).

First off, I have a bone to pick with you, Damon. Last July, I asked you if a female character was getting killed this season on Lost, and you said — and I quote: "I think it would be fairly silly for us to kill a woman —*there are*only three or four of them on the show. And they're all really hot." So, I guess my question is, how can I ever trust you again?
Damon Lindelof: I never said we weren't going to kill a woman. I said it would be silly. And you know, Carlton and I are pretty silly guys. You should see the hat that he's wearing right now.
Carlton Cuse: That's all I'm wearing.
Damon: And also a sock, but that's another story.
Did it bug you that Maggie Grace's people leaked that tidbit about her possibly joining the cast of X-Men 3 over the summer? It was a pretty major tip-off that she might be leaving the show.
Carlton: There's no incentive for them to preserve the creative sanctity of Lost. You have an agency full of people whose job it is to get Maggie Grace other work. And how could we begrudge her that? We can't prevent her from going out and earning a livelihood, you know?
There's the perception that Maggie had to turn down X-Men 3 because of Lost.
Carlton: I don't think that was the circumstance. We would have been accommodating had she been offered that job.
Damon: Carlton and I would have bent over backwards to see if there was a way to make it work.
Why was Shannon marked for death?
Damon: It was by no means a result of Maggie's abilities as an actress, which, we felt were gaining ground every time we saw her on the screen. But Shannon is a 22- or 23-year-old character, and the flashback stories and limitations in terms of her life experience…. The younger the character is on the show, the more limited you are in terms of stories you can tell. So, before we started running Shannon into the ground and doing the same stories over and over again, it felt like it was a very natural time to kill [her] off. And the idea that was appealing to us, and certainly to Maggie, was that we would finally show Shannon in this different light. Make her incredibly sympathetic and then she would die.
Will Shannon be back, like, say, in one of Jack's flashbacks?
Carlton: It's always possible she could pop up in someone's backstory. But she is definitely dead. When a character dies on the island, they stay dead.
Are you concerned that Ana-Lucia is beyond redemption? I can't tell you how many e-mails I got from AA readers asking, "When is that bitch going to die?!" Actually, I can tell you: 124.
Carlton: At the beginning of last season, people didn't like Josh Holloway's character either. And by the end of the season, he was one of the most-liked characters on the show. It'll be really interesting to see, as we tell more about Ana-Lucia, whether that changes the audience's perception of her. We think it will.
Damon: In the same moment that we decided Shannon would die, [we also decided that] Ana-Lucia would be responsible for that death. It would be the first time one castaway was responsible for killing another, and it would give so much inherent conflict and trauma [heading to] the merge. We're walking a very tenuous tightrope with her, but we feel that over the course of the next two episodes the audience will hopefully get a better understanding for that character and what she's been through.
Can you confirm that Shannon was, in fact, shot? Fans have been speculating that she looked like she had a stab wound.
Carlton: She was shot.
Damon: People are getting a little too…
They're reaching a little too much?
Carlton: They totally are. And she did not have a Dharma Initiative stamp on her.
Let's talk about Malcolm David Kelley and Walt. Why was his role reduced this season? Were you concerned about him aging faster than the time line on the show?
Carlton: That's a legitimate issue. We've only gone 50 days on the island, and he's a kid in puberty. But Walt's disappearance and, ultimately, Michael's efforts to reunite with him were part of a grander plan. There are also financial considerations. Since Walt wasn't going to be around for a lot of episodes, we had to make an arrangement to have his role be a more reduced role.
Whether you use him once or twice a year or every week, the aging thing will still be an issue, no? Might you recast?
Damon: To answer that question is sort of to reveal what the plan is for Walt, and there is a plan. I always feel like recasting is the nuclear option. You do not do it unless it is absolutely, 100 percent necessary. But obviously, we have a story that we want to tell about Walt and about Michael and Walt.
Last week*Shannon and Sayid gave us our first big Lost sex scene….
Carlton: It was the second big sex scene. Boone and Shannon had sex together [last season]. So, if you have sex on the show, you're pretty much going to end*up dead.
So, who's having sex next?
Carlton: (Laughs) As we move into the middle run of episodes, we're definitely emphasizing the Jack-Kate-Sawyer romantic triangle. The level of sexual tension between those three characters is definitely being ramped up.
How will Ana-Lucia figure into it?
Damon: As the respective leaders of their respective units, Ana-Lucia and Jack have a great deal in common with each other, and that's definitely something we're going to be exploring. But [the fact that] Ana-Lucia inadvertently murdered one of the members of the tribe doesn't exactly [lend itself] to candlelight dinners and walks on the beach. She is a woman; she will have romantic entanglements. But I think the one that will begin to emerge over the season will be the one that you least expect.
What about Charlie and Claire?
Carlton: We're definitely going to be paying attention to their relationship, but it's not going to turn in ways the audience expects.
Will we get any clarification about the numbers this season?
Damon: Carlton might want to punch me for actually going on record and saying this, but I think that that question will never, ever be answered. I couldn't possibly imagine [how we would answer that question]. We will see more ramifications of the numbers and more usage of the numbers, but it boggles my mind when people ask me, "What do the numbers mean?"
Will we find out why Ethan abducted Claire?
Damon: Yes.
Carlton: You'll learn more about it this season.
Will Claire get some of her memory back?
Damon: The loss of her memory happened so long ago that it requires a sort of deft touch in order to reintroduce the concept. Once we start assuming that everybody is intimately familiar with everything that has ever happened on the island, I think the show risks becoming slightly confused. But all of that stuff is in play. It's just a matter of when and how we reactivate it.
Are you still planning to reveal why the plane crashed this season?
Carlton: Yes.
Are you*saving that little doozy for the finale?
Carlton: We're saving it until later. We consider that on the ground of fairly major revelations.
Damon: We don't want to stick that one in the middle of March.
ABC billed last week's episode as the one "everyone will be talking about." What'll be the next one "everyone will be talking about"?
Carlton: Ironically, it's the next episode [airing tonight]. We think for us, it's even more of a water-cooler episode than the death episode. This is really a very special episode in that it's kind of a concept episode. It deviates from the form and style of our other episodes.
On Nov. 30 we'll finally learn what Kate's precrash crime was that landed her in so much hot water. Any other big flashback revelations this season?
Damon: In the next string of episodes, one of the really compelling backstory elements is what happened to Jack's marriage. We think Julie Bowen is amazing and she and Matthew Fox are so great in scenes together, and I think the audience is really curious as to what went wrong there.
Carlton: And you should pay attention to Mr. Eko's stick.
Seriously?
Carlton: Yeah.
Damon: Keep your eyes on Mr. Eko's stick.
Carlton: That stick is an important ongoing clue.
Will we learn more about Monster this season?
Carlton: Definitely.
Damon: Absolutely.
Has Disney approached you about doing a Lost feature film?
Carlton: No.
And if they did, what would your response be?
Damon: I would punch them as hard as I could. We couldn't even begin to wrap our brains around how we would produce a feature film. Obviously, the production team in Hawaii is amazing, but the amount of time [it would require] to do a TV show and a feature on top of each other… I think it's safe to say it would be impossible.
Last question: Will there be another death this season?
Carlton: (Laughs) You're very good, Michael, but we can't say.

I'm reading (not necessarily here) where a lot of people are saying about Ana Lucia being a cop or some variation in her past, and that will be revealed in her flashback (maybe even having crossed paths with our favorite hot fugitive, Kate), and my biggest problem with that is, it was in that article where it said that AL's past vocation will be one that will surprise everyone, that it's not what you'd expect it to be. So that tells me it's nothing to do with law enforcement.

Just got caught up over the weekend. I had missed the last two episodes. And I have to say, I still hate Michelle Rodriguez's character. I don't know why, she just sucks. It was fun to see Dr. Mike in last week's episode as Nathan (Ed fans will know who I'm talking about). Hopefully the next few episodes will pick up. These last two have been kinda lame. I thought that the opening scene for the last episode where you’re looking at an idyllic beach scene, then pieces of the airplane start to fall from the sky and the seat takes out the camera was the quite powerful.
Although I do think that except for a few exceptions I agree it went downhill from there

I don't hate her because of that. I don't like her because she's one dimensional. Sure she liked those kids and sure she cried after 40 days but I really don't care. It's like, you can predict everything she'll do or say and they need to change that.
And if next week goes like the previews, she'll be about to kill Sayid but as soon as she forgives herself and stops blaming herself like she's been doing ever since X happened in her flashbacks, she'll be able to let go and, in a physical representation of that, she'll let Sayid go. And the orchestra will play and a single tear will run down her face and Sayid will touch her hand and take her back to camp where Jack will offer her a piece of papaya and then we'll close-up on Kate making an evil "I licked that piece of papaya" face before we fade to black and L O S T.
Or something. :lol I have no idea. I just don't like her right now, obviously. :lol

What you're saying about AnaL and Michael....I've felt this "trying too hard" thing many times. But it varies with storyline and plot points and moves from character to character. I've felt it with Kate, Jack, Sawyer, even Locke. So, I think it's the writers.
But, it's more constant with AnaL so I think it's a bit of MRod's acting as well. She's not horrid but not up to par with a lot of the others.

First, I suppose last week's ep was intended to give us an "excuse" for lack of a better word, an acceptable reason why AnaL (I just love that that's caught on here, btw :p ) is the way she is -- but I don't buy it. I don't see that everything she's experienced is a free license to be a monumental bitch. And hello? Where are the balls of the other tailes concerning this chick?? I mentioned this to someone else privately last week, after she'd throw Nathan in that prison pit, well by golly she had no right to do that and I would've let him out, and if it meant a fight with AnaL, then so be it. She'd just automatically appointed herself judge and jury, does nobody else have a backbone?
And regarding this week's new ep, can anyone else imagine what transpires to where AnaL's got Sayid tied up to a tree? It can't just be her next move against what will surely be Sayid coming after her for revenge for Shannon.

The past two seasons of Sopranos have been terrible. Nothing but a bunch of standalone character episodes and very little plot, and a shitty plot at that.
Imagine if there were no more questions answered in Lost and the next two seasons are just flashbacks and we never find out what is going on in the island, but we only get to see the characters further developed.

Season 4 was by far the worst in the series yet, they just ran out of ideas to top the terror threats in the previous seasons and they just threw everything together to make it seem worse. I will watch Season 5 only if they don't resolve Jack's problem in the first episode. I would love to see a season, or at least half of a season, where Jack is a fugitive and is still trying to save the country. I'm afraid that they'll pull a fast one on us and do the two year gap, and say that most of the problems with Jack and the Chinese were settled. And he'll be back at CTU next week.

I see. Yeah, I hear you. The plot has really slowed down and the show is a lot different. But I'm one of the minority that still really enjoyed 4 and 5. Not all of season 4 but I appreciated that there was so much development of Carmela and Adriana in particular because I'm slightly obsessed with them. Just curious, how many episodes of Invasion did you watch? Because it's starting to pick up the pace. I don't want it gone, and I'm fine with Alias on Thursday
I watched 4 episodes...after that I couldn't stand it anymore, the actors are terrible. It's hard watching that and Lost back to back because Lost is so amazingly acted and then you watch Invasion where the actors are horrible.

I don't think Invasion is that bad. I dvr it every week and watch it later when I have free time. Comparing it to Lost isn't a good way to judge the show. For me, that would mean the majority of tv is worthless. Wait, most of it is. I do agree with another poster who said that Invasion has been picking up the pace. I'm interested to see where they go with the storyline. I'll watch it for the whole first season and then decide. I think Prison Break is a far better first year show than Invasion. I hope they resolve the possible 6 month hiatus that's looming when 24 returns in a few weeks. :thumbsdow

Too bad ABC is probably going to cancel it after this season...it's getting killed in the ratings.

I probably wouldn't lose sleep over it. I enjoy it, but if it were to get cancelled it wouldn't be the end of the world. Although with me not being a big tv watcher (besides sports), my list of shows is dwindling. Prison Break is going to be done for a while, Rome just finished until 2007, and that leaves Lost as the only show I really have to see every week. I missed the boat on 24 and Alias and they're too far along for me to try and catch up. I'm going to go for Deadwood instead so that by the time I catch up to that the new ones will be starting.

I agree I missed the Alias and 24 trains a long time ago. So i'll just stick to Lost, Sports and repeated movies on direct tv every night

I love “Deadwood"! Wonderful writers and a very talented cast
Ian McShane who plays Al Swearengen has to be one of the best villains on TV now.
I don’t have HBO so I have been renting the first season of “Deadwood” on DVD, which is nice because they have the feature of being able to choose to play an episode while the actors talk about how it was made.
Very interesting

Deadwood and Lost constantly battle it out for my favorite show on TV, and since Deadwood is on hiatus, Lost is winning now.

Deadwood is amazing. It took me a few episodes to warm up to it, but I was completely hooked after that.

I've been on a self-imposed exile from this thread since I spoiled something a few weeks back, and I want to apologize to those of you who read that post again. But I'm pulling myself out of that exile just this once to say....
That episode was phenomenal, a real example of why this show is so spectacular.
That's all.
