Yeah, yeah...If you don't like polls just skip the thread.

Just thought this was interesting...Very comprehensive list.

A couple weeks ago I checked it and it was much closer.

Read this. It's from Michael Moore. Love him or hate him, it's a good point.

The polls are wrong. They are all over the map like diarrhea. On Friday, one poll had Bush 13 points ahead -- and another poll had them both tied. There are three reasons why the polls are b.s.: One, they are polling "likely voters." "Likely" means those who have consistently voted in the past few elections. So that cuts out young people who are voting for the first time and a ton of non-voters who are definitely going to vote in THIS election. Second, they are not polling people who use their cell phone as their primary phone. Again, that means they are not talking to young people. Finally, most of the polls are weighted with too many Republicans, as pollster John Zogby revealed last week. You are being snookered if you believe any of these polls.

And since it says I have to write something, I will say, I couldn't care less what Michael Moore has to say.

The reason this poll is useless is because it calls close states (most within 1-4 points) for a certain candidate. Therefor while Bush having a 100 point lead sounds huge it reality it's only a few points here and there. Most electoral college polls have Bush up by 4-5 delegates or tied and they say the rest of the states are too close to call either way. Even if you are a huge Bush supporter you must admit a poll which states that Bush is up say 214 to 211 with 114 amount of delegates still undecided (Rasmussen Reports Survey Data), is a much more accurate description of the current presidential race then saying Bush is up over 100 points on Kerry.

Yes, if Kerry wins in November, I will begin praying every morning to the God that is Michael Moore!!!!

[I don't think a sarcasm smile is necessary here...but just in case....]

The link is not A poll. It simply compiles the data from various polls.

But this link is interesting:

If you look at the chart on the right...Kerry had this huge lead pretty much since June...And then the end of August hits and it totally turns.

I don't think there are many democrats out there who think Kerry is running a good campaign. He needs some of Clinton's people.

I think Thursday will be big though. Maybe it will end up in a fist fight...that would be way cool.

a fistfight? nah...they should at least take the mics off of the podiums and use them as whips with bludgeons on the end. Man that would be bloody...and alot more fun than a real debate. :D

Kerry has Clinton people. He has had them for several weeks. Lockhart, Begala, Carville, Sasso, and Sosnik. Not only that, McAuliffe is the head of the DNC.

[I don't think a sarcasm smile is necessary here...but just in case....]Well I know where Moore is coming from and that statement holds a lot of truth. And if you dont understand it I believe you will come November! Just because you dont like Mr Moore it does not mean he is wrong about everything.

You mean Micheal Moore isn't god?

I think we need to tell him that....i don't know if he got the memo, or maybe he ate it with everything else in sight.

When did Carville join in? I totally missed that. Is he there in an official capacity? When I saw him on Meet The Press a couple of weeks ago he was talking about some of the weak points in Kerry's campaign and it didn't sound like he was in any way involved.

Carville is the man though. :thumbsup
