As for the t-shirt thing, I think it's stupid that they wouldn't allow them to sell the shirt. I agree with you about first amendment rights. In my opinion, they should be allowed to sell the shirts as much as they'd like, but if the Cubs organization doesn't like it, just don't let anybody wearing the shirt into the park.

I wouldn't think that the headbands that people are wearing would bother anyone. I know the saying on them didn't quite translate into what it was supposed to. But I wouldn't call it racist. I think people in marketing get ideas in their heads and run with them before checking to see if what they're doing is accurate...which is obviously the case here. He's my second favorite Cub right now. I love him like crazy. I fell for him early last year before his average tanked. He's a solid "championship" caliber 6. He plays good enough defense, puts the ball in play and seems to be in the middle of big innings a lot. I wouldn't trade him for any other shortstop right now.

If someone else gave up a lead off single, and he came in...then yes, I do believe he could qualify for a save.
