Well...things that make me positive are little baby kicks inside my tummy...though now they are directed at my lungs, boobs and ribs. Seriously, why are my burps like that? :confused:[/QUOTE]it's because the sphincter at the top of your stomach is being compressed by the baby and it forces the acid and digested food back into your esophagus. sadly, there isn't a whole lot you can do but wait it out... i got to the point where i ate standing up to relieve the pressure. it might help if you eat several small easy to digest meals throughout the day instead of three regular sized meals. walking around after you eat helps a little bit too.
your prenatal vitamins might be the culprit too... they always turned my tummy. i found it was easier if i took them at night with a small glass of milk.
