:lol Ohhhh. I see. Ugh, I used to work with a guy like that, but in a different way. It's not that he thought everyone was stupid and treated them as such, but he HATED the fact that we knew a lot of stuff. He wanted to be the sole keeper of the computer knowledge. What an ass.

Please don't end up like the Jimmy Fallon charachter. (Although, that would be a HELL of a lot better than Monkey Boy!:lol :p )

There's actually alot of things we can do, alot of it crosses over with IT (I had my first job doing helpdesk crap), and I was a website designer last summer. Chief Information Officers at a high level, database administrators, network admins. We do alot of consulting and systems analysis too, figuring out where the problems are in a company and issuing proposals to improve them.

The company I worked for last summer was a print shop. They kept all their records in a pen and paper filing system, which caused a ton of problems (handwriting, misfilings, incomplete forms, and just general age) so I'm developing a order and inventory tracking system for them so they mess up less.

One of the big things for us now is IT project management. Managing the tech projects and getting them off the ground and within budget. The common system now is ERP which is supposed to track all the informational parts of any organization (mostly inventory).

In a nutshell, it's how best to use technology to serve business needs.

That's the thing. We met at the Chicago shows the previous April, became good friends (or so I thought) and he took me to THIS show. He paid for my ticket, we went to the show, and then we went back to a bar by his place afterwards. We got HAMMERED, which was the plan, along with me spending the night in his guest bedroom afterwards. Apparently he was under the impression that my "payment" for the ticket was pussy. And he was AGGRESSIVE about it. He didn't get it. And we haven't talked since.
