I'm looking for a pedal for electric guitar that's about $140 or less. Any recommendations on what to get? Just something with a decent amount of effects. And I havent really toiled with pedals at all, so I'm not sure but there arent any pedals that can serve both as a wah pedal and as an effect pedal are there?

The Boss single pedals are all for about $80-$120 but they are just one effect. If you try some out and find what effect your looking for I would look into the boss pedals.

My friend picked up an RP-something for about that price. It has just about everything, and even a drumloop. We use it to jam sometimes, and for the price, I think it's pretty great. The thing is, when you get something that does everything for a price like that, it tends to not do any one thing particularly well. You should probably specialize in one or two effects. The Boss pedals are great, particularly their new Metal Zone one.

probably a Digitech RP-200. There is a whole RP series. I have one. They're great.

Yep, I have the RP-50. No extra unneccesary crap that just adds onto the price. It's very good, and I recommend. 2 second delay, too.

I've got the 50, too. It's great for practice. It does just about everything.

Yea that's the one I ended up getting. I know a single purpose pedal would be better at that one thing, but I just wanted something to mess around with, so one effect wasn't going to cut it.
