Antsmarching mixed cd

I see people on this thread post a song(s) that they recorded and they ask for feedback. Well I had a cool idea yesturday that we put songs that you guys have recorded and put them on all on a cd. Then call it the antsmarching mixed cd.

sounds like a much stupider idea than i thought when I typed this out.
Oh well.

Ive thought about that as well, but in a different way. Id love to have an am.org open mic somewhere, where we all go somewhere and do our thing.

But a mix cd of live and studio stuff from am.org's musicians sounds pretty cool. Id get one.

I was thinking having people post there songs on this thread, then people just put it together. And then we all can decided on the order of the songs on this thread, and stuff.

I don't know what I'm talking about.

well, only reason I dont like that is because im not a fan of MP3s on cd. If i can help it, id rather get one collection of lossless tunes and work from there. otherwise id just glean all the songs from the musician's section myself.

i actually think that's a really good idea. it would highlight the way(s) people cover dave's songs.

Well perhaps after you song has been decided upon you can AIM or MSN a .wav or .shn version of it to the person who is going to make the CD. They can then put the whole thing into .shn as an album and torrent it.
I think it sounds like a sweet idea.
