I think we all expected it, but we all wanted it to be addressed this past summer too. And it wasn't addressed. It's frustrating when you had some great pass rushers on the market at one point. The one thing we could really use on our defense.

I know they had to pay Brady and they should pay Moss (though I'm not sure how the organization feels about this). But please, don't tell me we couldn't do that and get one other playmaker on defense?

Julius Peppers would have been the best option for our defense, but he was going to be hard to get and please. In fact he may have been a bad fit for New England just cause of his pay me attitude. Jason Taylor? Perfect fit for the division and he is still making plays with NY.

It's just upsetting that your best pass rush is a guy no one outside of New England knows (Banta Cain). The corners aren't that great, I agree. But they've shown they can get it done, but it helps when you have a good pass rush. Randall Gay and Ellis Hobbs looks like better cornerbacks right now, but that's merely cause they had guys like Wilfork, Seymour, Vrabel, and Bruschi pressuring the QB to throw it their way.
