if the pats beat the ravens last year, then lost to the colts the next round i dont think i'd give a fuck who they beat in the first round. yes, baltimore was dominant last year in the playoffs against the pats. 24-3 after the first quarter i believe, but the pats outplayed them yesterday and showed baltimore that holding on to a playoff win a year ago isnt good enough to get them back into the playoffs this season.

Because he makes a ton of crippling mistakes. That has to factor in somewhere. I think he's a very good QB on a dysfunctional team, but at some point you have to accept that fact that people are going to knock the QB of a 1-4 team.

I think its good for a defense to have players like rodney harrison, james harrison, even BM. if they take it to far, thats one thing, but its football, not ultimate frisbee. the players should be looking for big hits, not shying away from them because of stupid fines.

Meriweather can still lower his helmet to tackle, I think the issue is leading with the helmet going helmet to helmet/launching on a defenseless guy.
