not since the Giants loss
I just think Peyton is a more likeable guy from his commercials and interviews it just comes off like that. Brady seems to have a chip on his shoulder. Plus im sure the number of signed peyton manning footballs being sold in the Mass area spiked on EBAY last night
What I think was stupid was the booing of Adam Vinatieri who won the Pats two super bowls and even taking those out of the equation the snow game kick which might be one of the biggest kicks in NFL history.

Mayo, McCourty, Chung would beg to differ.
And what do you expect? BB had the same defense for the good part of a decade. It takes time to rebuild a franchise defense. Every team has bad draft picks...who knew?
Guys like mayo and McCourty will be here still in a few years when this defense is back to 03/04 form just in time for the final years of the brady era and the start of a new dynasty, and we'll look back at this stage as a rebuilding stage.

maybe not at QB but they still have the a huge skill set of players. Wayne, Collie, Garcon, Clark, Tamme there is only one piece of the set missing and its a HUGE piece.
All of whom that were drafted by the Colts and stayed in house. Not by free agency(moss welker, ochocinco) or bounced around to just come back(branch)

BB is billed as this defensive genius yet has consistently for the most part missed on defensive draft picks. Chung, Mayo okay. McCourty decent rookie season but prior to his injury was almost be targeted by QBs to throw at

Can we all at least agree that BB needs some type of draft help moving forward, starting asap? Sure there's been a few studs, but there's been a whole lot of duds. There's been potential big time WRs (or LBs) right where the Patriots were picking and they pick some future bust or add another running back.

because this team keeps winning with whoever he brings in. i think kraft is giving BB carte blanche to run this team the way he wants to.
Justin, what if the pats win this superbowl this year? yes, they have a chance to compete yearly because of tom brady, but i guarantee if they win you'll be in here bitching about how BB is going to screw up next year's draft. the fact is that this is a team with a chance to win the superbowl year in and year out. the defense was great in BB's early years here, and he's trying to build it back up. it takes time, and he isnt going to fuck around if he doesn't think a player is what he thought he was.

Obviously we can sit back in hindsight, I'm not saying all of the picks can be studs, or even good, but there definitely seems to be a need for some drafting help. One of you brought out a couple weeks ago that Mike Wallace went right after the Pats picked Brandon Tate. If they had taken Wallace there, we'd be discussing the inability to draft LBs without even mentioning WRs. :lol

Yeah I didn't bring that opportunity up because I thought I remembered it turned into two decent picks. But they really do need a big, fast, deep threat (that can actually catch a ball), if for nothing else then to open the field up. At least in my simple mind. :lol
Speaking of draft picks, I'm no scout, but Justin Blackmon (WR) from Ok. State looks like a cross between Dez Bryant and Calvin Johnson. Again, he could be a total bust or maybe I haven't seen his flaws, but the guy looks legit.

Gronk carries himself openly how every other jock actually acts. At least Gronk is like "I'm a meat head bro, so is my brother, I love hot chicks and playing football. I love crushing some wings and acting like a frat boy in the off-season" rather than not saying but being that way anyways, like 95% of the NFL. That I can respect. Better than not saying a thing, pretending to be an upstanding citizen, but then going to jail for beating up your wife or getting a DWI.
If you looked like Gronk, had the paycheck like Gronk, had the NFL skills like Gronk and the access to hot bitches like Gronk, you'd be the same way.

I think most people (especially outside of Pat fans) agree that Gronk carries himself like a douche. Not just because of the photo, not because he parties, but a combination of everything.
And there are plenty of people who have the paycheck, skills, and access to hot bitches who dont act like Gronk and don't want to be like Gronk.
