The in game changes they've made the last two weeks (and before then) have been absolutely great, but I'm still worried about them going up against a Rodgers or Brees led offense for 60 minutes. Granted at that point they'd be in the SB, and both those teams also have porous defenses which gives us a chance, but still. I think the biggest challenge would be the Ravens or a healthy Steelers team. Both can run the ball, eat up time, keep Brady on the bench and pressure the QB.

i agree with this. pats have the most takeaways on defense in the AFC and their redzone D is above average. the reason i'm sick of hearing about the pats shitty secondary is because green bay and NOLA's Defense are just as bad. they might have more playmakers, but the stats dont lie. i dont feel like either of those teams have an advantage over the pats becauase of defense..

Just my opinion, but what worries me I guess is that we don't have the real big deep threats that GB or NO has with Colston, Jennings and the like. If a team like Pittsburgh (or whoever) can come in and play that tight bump coverage at the line and throw off the timing of our smaller receivers, there's nothing downfield. Just my opinion, but what worries me I guess is that we don't have the real big deep threats that GB or NO has with Colston, Jennings and the like. If a team like Pittsburgh (or whoever) can come in and play that tight bump coverage at the line and throw off the timing of our smaller receivers, there's nothing downfield. Right, and that works for us. I absolutely love those guys and how the offense is built. But even in NO, you have Graham (who's a great player), but you also have X amount of WRs who can really burn you deep, so it stretches the field and opens it up. If you go back to the Cowboys, Steelers and Giants games, they all pressed us hard at the line and it created real issues with timing, pressure on Brady, etc.

yup, hopefully the pats can adjust this time around. they had the giants beat until eli lead that unbelieveable drive at the end of the game and that TE (i forget his name) made an amazing catch. and we def didnt get enough possessions against the steelers. imo the steelers are not as strong as they were when they beat us. no mendenhall and a gimpy ben might not be enough to get it done (also, i think they have their hands full on sat against denver without mendenhall and ryan clark)

i agree with this. pats have the most takeaways on defense in the AFC and their redzone D is above average. the reason i'm sick of hearing about the pats shitty secondary is because green bay and NOLA's Defense are just as bad. they might have more playmakers, but the stats dont lie. i dont feel like either of those teams have an advantage over the pats becauase of defense..
