I just baught a new Epiphone Les Paul the other day, and i noticed when i jam on it the low E and A strings do alot of buzzing that drowns out the music any suggestions on how to fix it...? thanx

it could be the way the strings were put onto the guitar. sometimes if not put on correctly, the strings will hit each other causing it to buzz.

try a new set of strings B4 paying a lot of $$ for a setup...

Im not sure if we are talking about the same thing.. but i may have had the same problem you did when i got my brian moore electric.. for me when i got it i didnt know what type of strings were on it and when new strings were put on the tension on the neck made it shift a little... thus causing strings to buzz because they are too close to the frets.... if this is your case you have to adjust the bar in your neck.. not sure though..

Just.. have it looked at before you get it set up or even touch your truss rod. It could be a million things.

a lot of companies when you buy a new guitar will set it up for you for free. A lot of local shops will do that. Or you can work it into the deal when you buy it. Just tell them that if you buy this guitar you would like them to throw in a set up too.

I would take it to the store you bought it and tell them it is buzzing, they should take care of it for you.
