Has he realized he made a mistake in trying to cater totally to the far right? If so, too little too late. And now he has these family groups coming out and saying that even civil unions destroy marriages and should be banned as well.
I don't think that is something he would do, even though I know he agrees with these people. But I guess you never know.
This almost makes me want to vote for Kerry. (but not quite :p) Just to send Bush a big FUCK YOU.

This has some Abbott and Costello characteristics to it. Pretty funny.
Mr. Gibson then asked, "So the Republican platform on that point, as far as you're concerned, is wrong?"
"Right," Mr. Bush replied.

you said you weren't voting for bush?! or is it you are voting libertarian?
That article was heinously written- I had to reread several parts to figure out what was going on with the double-negatives, etc.

I'm hoping Nader will somehow miraculously get put back on the ballot here. If not, I guess I will vote independent. But I suppose it doesn't really matter since none of them have a chance to win. :p

i'm happy to see you are pissed off enough at bush to act like you aren't voting for him, and know that a vote that isn't for kerry is going to bush.
you are a pussy. do you really think kerry will fuck things up as bad as bush?!
if so why? and don't forget there are many people who thought w was a great guy before all this.
i think it's fair to say bush has f'ed up enough to fire him and try someonelse out. and if they are bad vote someonelse into office in four years. we have to hold politicians responsible for their actions.

No see you're wrong. I voted for Bush last time. He has lost my vote. It's not going to him and it's not going to Kerry.
I hate both of them, and I don't think it matters who wins between the both of them quite frankly. Kerry has done nothing to show me he can run this country any better. I don't like him. Never have and he certainly hasn't changed my mind this election season.
Sorry if you disagree.

That article did have kind of a college newspaper feel to it.

You can still vote for Nader even if he's not on the ballot. But I would hope that you do not.

 ok whatever.
you KNOW a vote for nader goes to bush . so stop trying to "act" like you are punishing bush by not voting for him when you inadvertantly are! yeah i hear you kerry sure has showed me how fragile our democracy is like bush!

What?
No. It. Doesn't.
That logic sort of works only if you assume the person casting a vote for Nader would otherwise be voting for Kerry. But he made it clear that he voted for Bush in 2000, so there's no reasonable expectation that he would vote for Kerry this time around. Anyone who voted for Bush in 2000 is punishing Bush by not voting for him this time around.
No one is going to take Ralph Nader's vote total and add it to Bush's vote total, for crying out loud.

you are a pussy.
and you are an idiot. it takes a lot for me to resort to name calling, I think in general it is unintelligent, but you have definitely earned the label of idiot.

so, what if i just don't vote. am I inadvertantly voting for bush by not voting against him? This is awful logic.

Are you really this fucking stupid?
I voted for BUSH in 2000. By NOT voting for him THIS year, he has LOST my vote.
If I had voted dem last time, or would normally vote dem but decided to go 3rd party, you might have a point. But since I didn't and I don't, you are showing once again that you are incapable of logical thought.
