software question

heres what i have:

Roxio easy cd creator 6 basic
Azureus
mkw
flac fronted
winamp/shnamp

my question is...what are the (free) programs that allow you to seamlessly mix/blend song and where can i get them.

Also, i kinda dont like roxio, any other suggestions?

for burning cds: Nero
mixing audio: Sound Forge, or Adobe Audition [cool edit pro]

and- it's free if you don't pay for it. ;) (there may be a free version of Nero out there, but the other two are not free)

You mention that there "may" be a free version out there... do you know where i could find this version?

ps... after my computer broke down 6 times in two years, HP sent me a very nice new one with a DVD-RW... so i am looking for a good "cheap" program to burn shows...

Any help on this will allow me to B+P DVD's (which I told a couple people i would do as part of a B+P agreement).... All i am looking for is a cheap DVD burning program that will allow me to burn what i downloaded from BTs, or help on how i can do it with the program i have (Intervideo WINDVD creater)... i cant get the chapter set up and menus to work... any help would be great!
