what are some ways to stretch my vocal range and warm up my voice? i useto sing in high school but i've really forgot a lot of the stuff i learned.. anyone got any tips?

Warm up:
Sing scales or intervals that you are comfortable with.
Stretch:
Sing scales or intervals that are a bit above or below your comfort. If you find it difficult to it a particular pitch, bend over and touch your toes, lean back and stretch your diaphragm. Shake it up a little, stand up straight, open your throat, and try it again.
The one thing you have to realize is that you're not taking advantage of your potential unless you are at least giving a concious effort in opening your throat while singing. Posture is essential as well, but not quite as using your throat.
