I just ordered an Artwood on eBay a week ago and I got a sweet deal on it. The catch is that shipping was $50 bucks because he says he fine tunes the guitar and replaces strings and such. Long story short, it's about a day until Christmas and he still hasn't shipped that thing! I'm gonna be really pissed if I pay $50 bucks for shipping and it doesn't get here. He even assured me today that it would be here before christmas. We'll see. It better be the best damn guitar I've ever played! :lol

Hopefully in "fine-tuning" the guitar he doesn't actually tune it, as the strings are supposed to be pretty slack during shipping.

i havn't played it because i've been so p-oed about the whole thing. but from where i'm standing, that is one of the most hottest looking dreadnaughts i've seen in a while. i'm afraid that if i tune it up i'm gonna break it because that's just my luck. :lol so for now i'll pretend it's all a bad dream and wait for MY baby to arrive!

i don't have an acual picture but here's a pic of the stock one:

From seeing the AW100, the pics do the guitar not a bit of justice. The 300 that i will be getting is made of an exotic side wood that is darker than the 100's mahogany body. it's intended to bring out more bass which i hope will be a great thing. when i do get my guitar, i will post a bunch of pictures and i'm also going to install a pickup (i hope) and post some pics of the whole setup.

a 300 model is about 400 some. it's no martin but it's a damn fine guitar.

yeah man. around here it's all about the taylors and the martins. i mean, sure i'll give them their props but there's always gonna be a better guitar somewhere. i've been a big fan of ibanez since forever and this is the top end acoustic they make so i had to check it out. i think the thing that caught my eye was that it's made from bubinga wood. it's supposed to give a nice base tone without taking away the high end tone of mahogany. i hate to buy on impulse like that but the deal was great and all the artwood editions i've played blow me away. i just hope my baby gets here within the week cause i'm getting really annoyed.

ive bought a vox wah, vox volume, ts9, and big muff off ebay...and i havnt had any problems..i wouldnt buy anything bigger then a guitar pedal though..i live up in canada..so i wouldnt trust anything bigger..plus the shipping on anything bigger is a killer

but the most expensive and well known guitars are not always the best..hell i was playing an ibanez acoustic, the model that looks like the eric clapton martin..(sorry i dont happen to know the name, im an electric player lol)..but damn this guitar was nice..and it was cheap, 3 or 4 hundred..very nice

you should have a nice guitar on your hands:D:D

It's finally here! It only took a fucking month! But it's the most nicest guitar i've ever seen martin's included. I'm gonna tune it up and jam now so i'll talk to you later. I'm gonna see if i can borrow a digital camera and post some pics.

i'd love to but i havn't a mic or a pickup on it! I will be installing a pickup on it sometime in the not so distant future though. I'm gonna snap some pictures sometime tonight or maybe tomorrow so I'll keep you posted! Damn I like this guitar! :lol

Awsome man! I've yet to be dissapointed with my Artwood. I've recently installed the B-Band AST/A1N package on it and it's a beautiful sight. Hope you enjoy yours!

good to me, but i'm not an expert. i played a bunch in my price range, that was teh one that stood out.
