Hey ants... I searched, so dont yell at me, but yeah, all these threads seem to be guitar related and so I just wanted to test the waters and see how many bassists are out there in ants land...... and also, if anyone can point me in the direction of a "let you down" tab I would be much greatfull.... thanks folks.
:monkey <---- for the hell of it... is there ever a time where this thing is used in conversation?

I think for the most part its just the root note of the guitar chords.

I know thats what its on, I haven't really listened to it though so I can't help with a tab as of right now. Maybe later.

K, I play, lets talk bass. Here, I'm in the process of buying a new combo. Right now I have a Gallien-Krueger (Backline) 410 BLX cab, and a 410 BL head. I hate this set up for several reasons. First of all, more practically, it weighs a ton. Even though it is on wheels, the head unit itself weighs a good 35 pounds. The low end sound isn't that great, and when I hit higher notes (soloing), it clips from time to time, it isn't that great of a package, but it was the first cab/head unit set up I bought. It is loud, but the sound quality is not that great. It'd be great for pop music or rock, but I play mainly blues, jazz, AND rock and it just doesn't have the punch I want. I'm really looking at downsizing to the Ampeg BA115, they have great low end tone, or so I have heard from playing them.
